For what purpose are you buying a bike? What's the budget like? I use a bike which is now an antique...so they say. 34 year old Yamaha. 2 stroke. very good quality.solid iron all around. Love it and use it often to go into PJ/KL during peak hours. Pre-owned is good but get a bike mechanic to check it out. Cant advise much cos unsure of your budget.

I'm buying just to practice for about 6 months before riding a bigger bike. My budget is around RM5k.

i am not sure where u stay but there are a lot of bike shops selling pre-owned along the NPE near to Sri Manja. Landmark is Shell and many bike shops. When free go and scout for a good one. Ask questions and go for a test ride. QUOTE(BleuLantern @ Aug 23 2014, 10:40 PM) Will any motorshop have this kind of service?Currently I have my eyes on Kawasaki ksr110. Suggest you start with a second hand bike with manual clutch. Many in the market. Yahama FZ150, Etc. Easy maintenance and easy to sell. The Kawasaki ksr110 is a "FUN" bike. Easy to handle and small wheels and lower CG. Not for serious commuting. So not many buyers. SO beware. Plus Kawasaki spare parts are $$$$$. So care not to damage or get a "lemon" bike.
