1. Matches will drag out. Disadvantaged team will mount high ground defence but team with advantage is unwilling to risk losing their high net worth players so they will mount a half hearted siege. I kept telling my team to play passive. This is NOT fun for yolo casual scrubs like me.
2. Omni has highest win rate so far in this patch. Abaddon is pretty high too. These two players just have to ensure that their high net worth players survive.
3. Necrophos is second highest. His job is to KS the opponent's highest level/net worth player.
4. The "comeback's" happen a bit too often. After losing two rax and was way behind in kills, we got lucky and secured a wipe. Suddenly we were all rich and completed our items. The reverse happened to us as well. Comeback's don't feel special anymore
6. Too many team fights in a game, doesn't seem to mean much anymore. It doesn't feel special. When I'm on the losing team, I know that we still have a fair chance of mounting a comeback later. But in 6.81, we really have to run a very tight ship to ensure that we can have a chance.
7. Once you are in the lead, no more solo yolo. Tinker/NP players are going to hate this patch. The price of death is higher now.
8. The randomness is gone. Tower diving for the team with advantage is now too risky. Securing objectives is safer.
9. Building a lead now feels like a glass cannon.
10. Casuals (me!) are going to hate this patch.
TL,DR: After 7 games, the early game no longer feels rewarding. Games feel too long (50 mins average). Comebacks/Team fights are too common/repetitive. Dota 6.82 doesn't feel fun.
For the first time, after 8 years of Dota (since 5.84c), the game didn't feel exciting/fun.
Time to take a break, I guess.
