VG bought CIS and got iceiceice at the same price of rabbit's transfer fee. Initially the transfer fee for iceiceice was supposed to be higher but after some negotiation, they agreed on 800k rmb.

Hey guys, I've changed my key bindings recently. It takes some getting used to and to erase all muscle memory and I admit it is not easy. But i can see the positive effect, at least for myself.

I'm currently using qwer as skill quick cast, ALT + qwer as normal cast, spacebar + qwer as self cast. Same goes to items, normal press is quick cast, space + item key is self cast.

Previously my mouse 4 and mouse 5 are chat wheel and control all unit, now i've switched them to my item and I'm liking the results so far. Instead of 1 panic button, i now have 2. ( previously used spacebar as panic heal button. )

Anyone using quick cast here?

There's this recent game which I played with my friends, there was a fat ursa and dagon 5 bot blink tinker on the opposite side, bottom racks is down, we only manage to take 3 t1 tower and they took all our t2.

Somehow we manage to turtle and win team fight after team fight as they got very careless/arrogant and made mistakes after mistakes because they were so far ahead in the game which eventually turn the tide around and we won that game.

hey guys, usually our solo mmr and party mmr score should be more or less similar right?

I just calibrated my party mmr and it's at 3.2k, lost my 11th ranked match and dropped to 3.1k..

Any advice for my mmr range?

I dont really play mid or carry.. Usually play offlane or support.

For some reason,I have the feeling that in solo mmr, its kinda like you have to carry your team mate and make a significant effort to win it for your team instead of winning together with your team..

I think the theory behind playing tempo controller / core heroes will help you increase your mmr easier is because it will be 60-70% depends on you to win the game.

If you can get an advantage on that hero and snowball, you will win the game easily.

Yea, the last hit thing is really bad. Sometimes attack no projective, sometimes skill can't see the projectile. Don't know whether I successfully last hit or not.

Anyway, I saw a thread on reddit and it claims sea server has gone potato. Many people around sea can't play because of mass dc and lag.

Also, I tend to believe that dota in china server is a little different. The way they play are more hardcore and more try hard. They tend to work as a team compare to sea server where a random pinoy would say:" I don't need you to teach me" when you ask him to back, then died when got caught too far out and say," putang ina mo bobo"

The mindset is totally different. I'm guessing part of why they don't play tinker that much is due to their mindset too. Sea players tend to like to see lasers pew pew eblade dagon. While china players will gank tinker until he had no farm at all.

That alliance vs TT game 5. Great team fight everywhere, qojqva playing godlike refresher void,pajkatt refresher doom, singsing ember double daedalus double battlefury and lastly all in double divine rapier, misery position 4 naga turn into rat radiance naga during mid game.

too many holy shit moment, that sing sing escape with 50 health, that 5 man chrono and 1 shotted by singsing ember.

Last moment base race. The rat king alliance is rusted as they did not rat properly. They went in 1 by 1 instead and got picked off.

This game has EPIC written all over it and only thing I wished was different is the casters. I was already confused a little by the epic team fight that was going on and I couldnt understand anything Ayesee was saying. The camera work is awful too as they only capture part of the team fight going on while on the other side of the camera, something else is happening.

I'd rather have a good camera work instead where I can see all the actions.

For some reason it has been one epic game after another during this week. Guess we don't really need 6.82 that urgently yet.

Just dont play it for this few days or weeks. There's a undersea internet cable which gone broken if you didn't know. I think that was responsible for all the packet loss. Not sure if the cable is fixed already or not.

Qojqva is too impressive. Think he have better team mates now compare to his time when he is with Liquid. Currently rooting for TT, Secret and VG.

All 3 teams are looking very strong.

Yea, i did think of that. But i remember someone mentioning that if one part of the cable is broken , it can slow down the internet alot due to insufficient bandwidth or something like that as everything else gets crowded to handle the extra traffic that the broken cable was suppose to handle.

Guys, anyone having problem with dota just now? around 10-11pm?

I moved to a place near my uni. Just installed streamyx 4mbps package and 1st time playing dota using this line and it's unbearable. First 10 minutes, i was lagging very badly. with ping shooting up to 3k-3.5k. Basically it was a slide show for 10 minutes. And mysteriously I didn't abandon. after that, I had moments of pings at 100ms+ then randomly shooting up.

What's the cause of this?Is it:
A) Problem with the undersea cable thats broken the other day?
B) Problem with the dota 2 server?
C) Problem with my streamyx 4mbps?
D) My housemates torrenting drama and prawn?

The current system of abandon after not getting exp for a certain amount of time isn't that good. There's a game where I had a zeus who'd camp fountain after we lost 1 or 2 team fight and just spam ulti. I was just playing normal pub. He totally gave up on that game when it's 6.82 and you could get tons of exp if you manage to win 1 fight or get a pick off.

I also found out that there were people abusing mmr system where they just pick zeus and spam ulti in fountain once they reach lv6. If you do this during your mmr calibration, then you would get high mmr despite losing due to high hero damage that you dealt during the game.
