Guys, anyone know any way to strengthen security after gotten hacked by bots? My friend accidentally clicked one of those phishing links and his items all gone now.
I mean, there's no way he could get his items back but what can be done after that? His account got games too. So if want to make a new acc is just too troublesome.

QUOTE(air @ Dec 4 2014, 08:46 AM) Ask him learn how to contact steam support and get back his item, and change his password into stronger ones, and recheck his contact email address in case forgot password. QUOTE(v1n0d @ Dec 4 2014, 08:59 AM) Should also scan the system for rootkits. I've seen cases where the victim accidentally downloads an executable java file that starts logging keystrokes. Alright, thank you guys. Appreciate the help.
