hmm, did i miss something?

You can directly transfer between XY and ORAS, with item too.

if you want to fast transfer your pokemon without holding an item you can use pokebank. if you want to transfer pokemon when holding an item you can trade your pokemon between pokemon X/Y/OR/AS if you hv 2 3ds with you or ask someone to help you.

you can use DEXNAV to check their name, lv, ability (HA), move(egg move), hold item (may hold rare item) and potential (IV)
