Im planning to buy the 3ds xl.. I am wondering what should i set it location and others.. Plus how to use pokebank here

Location set to US Alaska (if u want to use reload card) or Canada (if u want to use credit card).
I stupidly set mine to US New Work, now I have to pay 10% tax whenever I buy something from eShop...

I thought you can change the region all the time one?
I used to put mine at Machigan when I first setup my account, but after knowing Alaska and Oregon have no tax, I simply just change my region and works just fine.

Eh.. So ORAS demo only applied to US region to get newsletter? Because I set it to Malaysia and can't change anymore..
I already sign up Pokemon Trainer Club long time ago with old email dunno got newsletter or not before in that old mail because I can't access anymore.. forgot password, but I changed into new email after the announcement.. Hope can get demo newsletter..

Can one just change your address. It's not really related to Pokemon but more towards your nintendo account settings.
Just change the address and region to alaska or oregon and no tax.

I am a bit confused. As I had signed up Pokemon Trainer Club several months ago and I received newsletter occasionally. However, the region that I put is Malaysia. Does this affect the fact that I can't receive any demo code from Pokemon.com on 21st Oct (Malaysia time)?



Please someone advise me on this situation. Need some help.
