Yes you can. There's no online pass or things like that in Nintendo games so far.

Do note that some of the online feature has ended on November 1, all of them have something to do with PGL which is being updated for S&M. But basic ones like trading and unranked battles still functions just fine.

Hmmm is PGL is like the competitive side of Pokemon? So with the new SunMo, only SunMo will have the Ranked match when it's out?

Was thinking to buy a Pokemon game and try the competitive side of it but donno what to decide on either OR or Sun.

2016/ 2017 competitive ruleset will be based on Sun & Moon so if you're going for that there's no point getting the previous games.

But even until now I still like replaying old pokemon games once a while because I feel the single player is still the main attraction of these games.

I think most of us knew. Some jerks are even spoiling the story by putting them on youtube thumbnails and they appeared on suggested videos.

I won't stop anyone from talking about the leaked content. But please use the spoiler tag and clearly state it as such.

Yeap the suggested video on youtube showed the image of major spoiler on the storyline. How did they get it anyway?
