Hi all,
I want to Plasti Dip my Persona stock Alloy rims, any recommended shops where i can do it for for a reasonable price?

Go Ace Hardware and buy 4 cans of plastidip and DIY. Much much cheaper.

i know one shop called Crayon can do that nearby AEON AU2...
many expensive car including lambo using their service so i think maybe the workmanship is good...
EDIT : btw they spray the whole body but am sure the shop also accept rims too...

btw, near with my house got workshop sell plastidip spray... but not sure which brand...

plastidip mine almost a year ago and it is still quite lasting. except for the corners when i change wheel and it was torn a bit when changing the wheels (as my tyre burst in the middle of the road)

it's easy to DIY dip rims actually. Just use a big garbage bag n use it to cover the brake. Arm Length distance, spray on the rims. first two should be fairly quick just to set some coverage so the back few dip run will bond with the dip.. from 3rd ~ 5th/6th layer preferable slightly thicker and spray a bit slower for perfect dip job biggrin.gif

EDIT : Move with the curves instead of being static during spraying

Not really cheap .. Rm400

Reason why I say not cheap as re spray whole rim is about that price and can get cheaper too

I see, but then if respray, no turning back. If dip dont like still can tear it off

True but also take note dipping will be only last until your next change of tyres, as will start peeling off when they korek your rim out from old tyres

OMG... I saw your post and straight went to Ace Hardware... 53Ringgit ++ for each can... OUCH... In Murica, Only 6++ USD a can.... Mine 6 inch rims only needed 2 cans... WTS>2x cans of black plastidip...

You can also use the plastidip glossifer to enhance the finish and make it shiny.
