After 6 gruelling country qualifiers in the MSI Beat IT RGN League, these 6 teams emerged as champions & will be seeded directly in the playoffs in September: [SINGAPORE] Insidious Idol, [MALAYSIA] Arrow Gaming, [PHILIPPINES] Gigabyte.Mineski, [THAILAND] [LHH]Awake, [VIETNAM] Imba Gaming & [INDONESIA] The Prime SIAPA.

Fret not! There’s still the wildcard qualifier for the other countries involved as well as a “second lease of life” for the teams that failed to qualify during the country phase. However, it will not be an easy feat as the wildcard qualifier could feature up to 256 teams with only the top 2 placing qualifying for the playoffs. A total of USD$5,000 cash prizes is up for grabs in the playoffs, as well as flights & accommodation to represent South-East Asia in the MSI Beat IT Global Finals in Taiwan!

1st September 2014: Round of 256 (first half), 7.30pm to 10.30pm

2nd September 2014: Round of 256 (second half), 7.30pm to 10.30pm

3rd September 2014: Round of 128, 7.30pm to 10.30pm

4th September 2014: Round of 64, Round of 32 & Round of 16, 7.30pm to 11.30pm

5th September 2014: Quarter-Finals & Semi-Finals (Best of 3), 7.30pm to 11.30pm

6th September 2014: Finals (Best of 3), 7.30pm to 10.30pm

Important Information:

Format: Single Elimination Best-of-1; Semi Finals & Finals will be Best-of-3, Captains Mode.

Maximum Teams: 256 on a first register first serve basis.

Eligible Countries: Bangladesh, Brunei, Cambodia, India, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Nepal, Philippines, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Thailand & Vietnam

Ban/Pick Selection: Teams named first in the bracket will need to select either 1st pick or sides (Radiant or Dire).

Procedure: Team captains are to put their team tags & join the DOTA 2 channel ‘Rapture Gaming Network’ 30 minutes before their stipulated match times and look for their opponents. Teams that fail to turn up after 15 minutes of their match times may be given a forfeit loss. Teams are also reminded to keep the end-game screenshot in case of a match dispute. Should a match be broadcasted, the team captain will be informed beforehand & an admin will host that game.


Team members are also strongly encouraged to check their emails at least once a day.
