Hi Chuan See, Acacia Park Phase 1, will be starting work after the Chinese New Year. The building contract has been awarded and we expect the contractor to prepare for mobilization by next month. As for Seiring East, the Semi Detach houses, tenders are being prepared and work will be starting soon.

i am one of the earliest person who booked the acacia park phase 1. due to some reason,i have cancelled my purchase and spoke to Sales agent in Bandar tasik putri sales gallery,and she process for my cancellation form. as what she promised,the refund money (rm5k) will be reimbursed latest by 1 month after my cancellation application,and now its been a month and no one call me to collect the refund money.

i have called the Lowyat account department,and the person spoke to me is Ms Tang, and she said the process might take another 2-3 weeks from today.

so i need LYG confirmation on this and when an exactly i will get the refund.

Dear LYG,

Thanks for the infor. I have made a visit there (proposed latar interconnection to BTP) last week and I found that there is none, works or machinery there, as opposed to few months back where at least land clearing works were undertaken.

I am really hoping that it is not a marketing tactics by LYG.  I mean that the works were carried out merely to impress buyers of Acacia, GH5 etc which were launched during that time.

This concern also has been voiced out by our friend here (could not remember who) who travels everyday using Latar n reported that it has been quite some time since the works has been suspended and machinery were mobilized out from the site.

This KL Kepong suing thing (even you say that the LLM buy under National Land Code) is a big thing and you should not hide real facts to the public just to continue impressing us with the promises of Latar interconnection by mid-next year when there is land problem there and you know it?

And telling us the turnkey contractor assuring u that this matter will be 'resolved soon' is another PR gone bad. We know you are busy handling other office/site/marketing matters but please give us more clarity in terms of timeline and what really is the problem so we could make better judgement. Please take us as another simple Malaysian folk, trying to decide which square concrete box should we stay in for the next 40 years. Please understand forking out 2000-3000 per month for housing installment could be trouble for some. Further if the poor fella is paying that with regret and hatred in his heart over misinformed decision making. Please show us some empathy and share accordingly.

This all is virtual, and solely on your reply I could only hold on to. That is a risk to me as well.

I am hoping at least a more diligence answer from LYG. Thanks and salam hormat.

We were so disappointed that our first home turned out to be such a defective house. For sure we are going to contact the Operations Manager. But by looking at the progress, does that mean that during this period of time we are not allowed to carry out any renovation work until all defects are fixed? So to ensure that defect liability period is not void. We are looking at moving in by mid of this year and do not hope that our plan get dragged on by such issue

Hi kickasix, as mentioned we have to the best of our knowledge replied about the true facts of the case. Let us provide a little bit more information to all the skeptics out there.

1. BTP is the biggest township north of the Klang Valley with a land area of 2,670 acres. That means we have a direct interest to see to it that the Latar Interchange is completed soonest possible as this will definitely provide an impetus to accelerate the development in the township, due to the convenient travelling distance to the city. In any township accessibility is of utmost importance. We have the funds and the bank loan approved for the interchange. Why delay?This interchange benefits BTP more than anybody else.

2. We have already incurred more than $20m to build the underpass (bridge where the connection will pass through, and is already completed) including upgrading of the roads, drainage system and power supply ready to link to the interchange. Would any developer incur such expenses as a marketing gimmick? The answer is absolutely not as this will not last forever, when there is no results.

3. As to the land issue matter, LLM is the body that will acquire the land, using the National Land code. Any lawyers out there will be able to provide some enlightenment. There is some technical issues that LLM needs to sort out and we are confident based on the feedback received from our turnkey contractor, we expect this matter to be resolved soon. We are still targeting next year as the completion date. And for your information this is not a PR exercise.

Enough have been said and we will certainly provide any feedbacks received for the benefit of all.

Why want to let go? Coz of Latar delay?

I think LYG and latar have settle with KLK first... KLK has a big piece of land south to latar and BTP, I am afraid they want more than money coz they were left out in the interchange deal...

So maybe KLK intentionally don't want BTP to be successful, want their BSC to develop instead. This is so lame tactic.

Yes i know its on monday wednesday and friday. I put the garbage on saturday, today is wednesday right? Or the lorry driver doesnt realize today is wednesday. Sumore it was not a construction garbage maaaa. We do not talk about sunday or saturday cause its pass already. We talk about monday n wednesday, until late afternoon my garbage is still there. Nonsense lahh like this.

Hi khairul, we apologize the garbage truck miss collection yesterday (Wednesday), however they went for the collection today (Thursday). I believe all the garbage have been collected today.

Acacia Phase 1 owners, anyone got the stamped agreements or contacted the lawyer recently?

Hi All Residents/Buyers, we were informed today that the PETRONAS service station will finally open for business on the 6th February 2015. This is the first service station at BTP, however there are 2 more that are being planned in the near future, which we were told it is Caltex and Shell. Happy Motoring.

Hi Billy, LYG started this forum as we want to be transparent and to provide an avenue for all buyers/investors to air their views. In fact not many developers do that and subject themselves to all kinds of criticism, whether positive or negative. We believe by providing this forum we can gather all the feed backs received and improve the township better. We want to make BTP a healthy, safe and environmentally friendly township, where all residents are proud to go home to.
