I understand its not tailored for Malaysia since its only beta and released for US.

For those who using it I'm curious how or what do you use it for

Why can't use? Just now I asked Cortana where's the nearest McD, she gave me very accurate results. Also asked how's the weather in Kedah, she gave a forecast (but in Fahrenheit, how to change eh?)

For others how do use cortana, please share it here.

I use it to play music and do some simple search

the unit for weather can't be change as we set our region as US (to enable the Cortana at the first place) so conflic in setting...

That's what I mean by is not tailored to Malaysia...lel..

So far I used it to add reminder and calendar.

You can also ask Cortana to set a reminder when u reach somewhere.

For example, "Remind me to buy groceries when I reach home". Cortana will save a reminder. The next time u reach home, that reminder will popup on ur phone (Cortana doesnt actually say it, just a normal tone).

I use it often to send SMS while driving, using bluetooth to activate Cortana.

"How is the traffic to my office?"


"What time will I arrive at the office?"

Cortana can be used only we change the region & language to USA
I guess we won't be getting for Malaysia region soon

to show weather in celcius just add "in celcius" in the end weather question.

I tried changing region n language to usa in my 735... Doesnt work xD how do i get cortana

Make sure in language settings, English (United States) is at the top. To move it up, just hold down on that languages and a menu will appear (Select "move up" on that menu).

I have changed mine too.But still don't have Cortana on my Lumia 920

after setting your region do check your language setting.

English (United States) MUST be on TOP of the list.

you can add your secondary language later.
