the quarter start with the date your card is approved.
For example, my card approved at 31 mar, then the quater is:
31 Mar - 29 Jun
30 Jun - 29 Sep
30 Sep - 30 Dec
31Dec - 30 Mar

btw, just call aeon cs to absorb my rm50 GST on mar 31. they only require 1 transaction any amount anywhere within 2 months  biggrin.gif

rclxub.gif I downloaded my latest statement and found out that my 3% Quarterly Rebate is not RM150, instead it was RM105.46. I double check with my recorded excel file and I think I should get RM150. I called up customer service of AEON. He told me the quarter involved is from 22/12/14 - 22/3/15, I quickly replied him "Why in the statement always show: my card anniversary month : Principal - 17 SEPTEMBER 2015, my quarter involved should be 17/12/14 - 16/3/15. Then he told me my quarters since my card is approved 17 September 2013:

17/9/13 - 17/12/13
18/12/13 - 18/3/14
19/3/14 - 19/6/14
20/6/14 - 20/9/14
21/9/14 - 21/12/14
22/12/14 - 22/3/15
23/3/15 - 23/6/15

Conclusion: Every quarter, the quarter involved will move 1 day forward. rclxm9.gif

Can anybody call CS to check on this and post here?

Anyway, I am still thankful to Aeon for having this Watami card because I enjoy all the benefits of this card like 0% balance transfer, 3% quarterly rebate, dining rebate, birthday...etc. Hope it will keep it up and not reducing the benefit.

so u mean you have loss the cash back rm44.54. do yr calculation is by posting date or transaction date?

I attach the TnC part where it say that it is base on posting date. My calculation is by posting date.

From 2013 when I started using this Watami card, every quarter my rebate is RM150 except this quarter.

If go according to normal quarter as per most people understand, I have transactions total a little more than RM5000 during the said quarter, so I should entitle RM150 rebate.

But if go according to the altered quarter as per told by the CS, then my rebate is RM105.46 as per in the statement. Yes I loss cash back RM44.54 since I can charged these amount few days later.

I still not yet complain to them because I want to ask in the forum first whether it is known to a lot of cardholder or not. It seems that no one here know that every quarter will move forward 1 day.

I have call CS again to complain and show them the terms and condition yesterday to ask for the loss of cash back RM44.54. Today CS call me saying my calculation is correct and they are going to give me the rebate in next statement. They also said they will adjust the system so that every quarter cycle we do not need to adjust 1 day. Lets see how. Thanks all for discussion.

tip to use it:
let's say if you have an insurance rm3k to pay in june. so for that quarter, let's say june-august, you may spend any amount (up to another rm2k) to get the 3% cashback. for other quarters which you think you can't achieve, don't swipe any. but as your life goes on and expenses grow, you will surely feel that rm5k per quarter is not enough. lol...

Question:

asking on behalfs of my mom,
she's going to pension this year

age: 60
annual income (before pension) : 40~45k

is it eligible for a senior citizens to apply for credit card?
*Does paying loan consider a retail transaction? (loan such as car loan, ptptn and etc)
*
I am a sales agent for OCBC GE card, OCBC will reject the application of credit card (principal) of those above 55 years old even if he is still with income. Supp should be no problem.
