I have a total free meal from watami..spent rm69 for dining and get rm30 birthday credit back to statement..after open statement see another rm39 rebate again..what a wonderful card😝

In Nov-2014 I used Watami CC for a dinner:
Watami Bill: rm128.40 (after 5% discount)
-birthday treat: rm30.00
-anniv. treat: rm50.00

There are two credits in my statement which I don't understand, ie.
10% Watami Cash Rebate of RM4.84 (I thought should be 10% of rm128.40, instead it is 10% of Watami Dining Credit Rebate?)
Watami Dining Credit Rebate of RM48.40. (which works out same as rm128.40-rm30-rm50, so it is a free meal?)

Watami dining credit rebate..yea a new card..I think perhaps is due to first time dining at watami, perhaps MGM able to verified on this

lol... just received this 5% 3 days extended rebate sms after i posted the above. so at least 18th is the day to get the 5% and the bottle together!

any reason behind it why aeon cc got 20++ days for free interest?

they are clever. they sent sms for my aeon gold but not watami. If watami, can get 3% on top of this 2%.

The April statement is out and there is no points given for BT instalment.

I just swipe RM20K for sjmc on april 29, but my bill is on 10th cut off.
suppose sjmc need to refund me back RM18K, what happened if they refund me late after 10th cut off? So should i pay the RM18K first? and then do you think i can get back the Rm18K in cash or cheque after the cut off?

Just to update that previously for the first year of the card my quarter dates are always consistent, eg 8/2 - 7/5, 8/5 - 7/8...

After calling in to check on the latest rebate not being credited, the CS informed me that my quarter dates has been moved to the 12th and this is due to +1 day every quarter, and it seems to be in-line with the latest updates posted on this thread.

Let me re-adjusted the date so that it reflects the actual situation. If I settle the balance in full every month, I understood I can enjoy interest free period, and my current experience only without Balance Transfer.

02 May - Balance: RM 0.00
25 May - Retail Tranx - RM 100.00
10 Jun  - Statement Closing.

So I have the time until July 2 to settle the payment without being charged the interest. Perfectly fine.

What if I carry 6 months balance transfer of RM6,000 for example.

02 May - Balance: RM 0.00
25 May - Retail Tranx - RM 100.00
09 Jun - First repayment of BT - RM 1,000.00
10 Jun  - Statement Closing.

Question is for my retail tranx @ RM 100, would I get charged interest if I settle the payment before July 2?

The term 7b made me worried, cause balance from BT still considered outstanding balance.

What if I pay my retail transaction of that RM 100 before statement closing on Jun 10?

I read that it is mention if spend above rm1k only recommend to get Aeon Watami credit card. Can someone explain to me why? I mean spend less rm1k also still can entitle the cahs rebate benefit and others right?
