Received a call from aeon yday enquiring whether I performed a USD transaction at a company called Eurosport. Denied and while on the phone, got the transaction sms. CR immediately blocked my card and a new card will be reissued. Subsequently after that got about 12 more smses of different online transactions but all failed, amounting to almost 2.6k USD.

Still getting the smses as of now, luckily all stating that transaction has failed.

If one is visa, one is master card, then possible.

i even have the 2 exact same cards from another bank before 

nope. i believe it is because their card processing dept got mixed up. my first application was missing so i complaint about it. instead of tracking the application, they just make a new application and the missing application went through. so i got two of the same card 

not for my case. the best part is that, i received the sign up reward for both cards

I checked my Aeon account just now, no payment reflected and my due date was yesterday also.

Hope Aeon won't charge us late payment charge later...

Later I'll be flying again but not using Aeon Gold at PPL KLIA. This time will use RHB Plat.

Anyway, I was told that Aeon has lower rate in overseas therefore I have called Aeon to unblock my card for overseas usage.

Too many cards and I'm just lazy to call each of them.

Only called Maybank, OCBC and Aeon, should be more than enough for me to survive in Germany for a week.

Is it hard to apply for watami credit card now?
Just got rejected. My annual income is more than 24k.

Two issues.

Transactions on 10 and 11, posted on 12 are not included in the 3% rebate. This one okay, I can understand as it has been reported before and will challenge it.

The strange this is, I expect my 3 months rebate to be credited in next month's statement according to the previous cycle but now it is posted 1 month in advance

Okay, exclusive reporting live 

Previous forumers posted that the NEW system will add +1 day. This is wrong as the CS actually told them 180 degree opposite thing.

When the card and the system was launched in 2013, there is actually a bug in the system which added +1 day. The OLD system is not able to replicate the supposed quarterly period as the FAQ.

1st quarter = 15-11-12 until 14-02-13 (3 months).
2nd quarter = 15-02-12 until 14-05-13 (3 months).
3rd quarter = 15-05-13 until 14-08-13 (3 months).
4th quarter = 15-08-13 until 14-11-13 (3 months).

I didn't notice this as I was not affected.

It is only recently in May that they have debug the system and now it is able to follow as the schedule posted above. I trust this is an accurate info because my 2nd issue is also solved by this changes. Previously, I am only able to get the rebate in my 4th month but today it was credited on the 3rd, just like you guys.

I did not receive the rebate for the 2 transactions because they were in March when the system still adds +1 day, so both were not included. They will be credited manually next month.

Didn't I say, if it affects me, I will find out what happen    This guy who talked to me is the best CS that I ever dealt with in any bank.

TLDR - No +1 day. Follow FAQ.

I did not even need to explain the issues. he already investigated based on my CC number and even recalled our conversation last time.

Since there is 2 more months to go for this quarter, am wondering if I should apply for this Watami as well or not to enjoy the cashback

Seems positive review on the customer service and spending 3k in 2 months should not be hard ( Since parents does groceries on a weekly basis )

60 cannot apply credit cards anymore. Even, I wanted to supp a card for my dad who is above 60 years also cannot. At least that was 3 years ago, now I'm not sure.

You cannot pay loans with credit card, you cannot pay a credit with another credit.
