Should I be a card hoarder now that there's no GST?

So far I have...
Maybank 2 Card - For weekend spending that don't apply to other categories
Maybank MCard Ikhwan - For Petrol / Groceries (Fri Sat)
HLB Wise - For Petrol / Dining (everyday)
CIMB Cash Rebate (Application) - For groupon / lazada / buy bus ticket / online stuff

AEON Watami (Thinking about it) - For all other transactions that don't apply to above categories on weekdays and also places who don't accept AMEX which is quite often.
*
if you can get PB VS should use it for overseas (lower exchange rate) and online transactions instead of CIMB unless you 100% sure their system is in malaysia so you don't get charged the cross border fees

For Watami user, may I know what other card you use for petrol?
Maybank2card? - but only on weekend.
UOB ONE? - but the monthly limit too low, even on the 10th of each month the quota will be finished and not entitled for 5% anymore.

For entry level card, not those high earner like Signature or Premier card. smile.gif

You may consider HL Wise card for petrol

today i MNP from current umobile to celcom and the TAC/OTP/SMS transaction alert not received on my phone.

this happen to my RHB online banking and Maybank as well. but RHB and Maybank CS was known on this problem and help to inform their telco and RHB fixed in 5 minutes while Maybank said will fixed in 24 hour.

But Aeon CS said celcom always block the sms and ask me to change the phone number (What?) or switch back to other telco (What???). I ask them to re-register my phone number to their system and i believe this will fix it. They said will change within today, I guess also another 24 hour?

anyone MNP from different telco and face any issue on the automated SMS before?
(more particularly for Aeon, normal bank i think they can fix it)

PS: I MNP from Digi to Umobile before and no issue on automated SMS on all banks

**Update: tested this morning, TAC/OTP successfully send to my mobile after re-register on the number, I believe the CS was not aware on the this kind of problem.

Hi, I notice that quite a number of you are talking about BT. Is there any particular reason why you would want to do that?

talking about aeon BT because it is free --> 0% interest BT over 6 months, with no up front processing fees

once BT is done, can save $$ by putting the extra money to other places (ie: flexi loan account / FD / M2U savers / ASN / ASW 2020 )
