i heard it's very hard too. can i know how old are you guys when you start to learn breakdancing? Will age influence anything? I'm 21, will that be too old to start to learn? I heard from one friend(not a close friend) who breakdance and he said the first training is to stand on your hand for a few hours to train your arm muscle first. Is this correct?

QUOTE(chuafc2006 @ Dec 31 2006, 11:00 AM) hmm..I"m a big fan of hip-hop dances(esp. breakdance)... Are u sure about the sites? they are more about melbourne shuffle then breakdancing gosh, if we were in Taiwan, i guess, there would be many things to learn from dancing tuitions. anyone know where to learn? (dancing classes) I'm 19 now..lol... would like to learn, but still not yet learn anything. any video downloading websites besides YouTube? Please share I would recommend some for u all here: http://www.dancesoul.com.tw/cgi-bin/lb5000...er/leoboard.cgi http://clept.net/ http://www.pureharddance.com/ anyway youtube is far easier to use. i just search for six steps breakdance and i found what i want. after i master the six steps i will go for the toprock |

Even if you are working you can still dance, right? But if ya guys got training and session, do count me in. I stuck at basic and lazy now... Actually there is a studio here in Genting Kelang, KL. Cant remember the name. But quite a number of people there. But i want to learn the basic first then only start to join them. |

Found this on the H & F forum.
http://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?showtopic=343035&h maybe the mod should move the topic here and merge it. I try some toprock and downrock(six steps) i'm starting to get it but still yet to master it. Maybe after i master a few basic steps then I can start to learn form you guys. |

Ya, I found that more and more people are learing to shuffle then breaking too. Izzit because most shuffler are in the club but most of the bboys/bgirls are in dancing studio?
Currently learning on how to knee drop but still find it kind of hard because still I cant find a the right way to drop without droping on my knee. But now i can do the 6 step, 1 step and 3 steps but still not perfect, yet |
