been using it for awhile....amazing program espeically if ur using streamyx

with direct dload, using streamyx, from gamespot.com i get like no more than 10kbps....but with IDM i can get more than 50!! its still slow considering i'm paying for a 1mb connection.....but yeah the IDM really helps

can USE IDM to dl movie mar?

yes..u can dl whatever file types using IDM..but it doesn't support p2p like flashget do..

but why some said its an adware program..like the DAP

but i use bitdefender,avg,avast scan,none of them detect it as adware wo..i use so far no problem..

I am using Bitcomet now and only <25kbps but paying for 1mb streamyx! So... this IDM will better than it??

IDM is not a torrent client.. it's for direct download = http, ftp bla bla but not for torrent

it depends on the seeder/leecher ratio and ur settings as well as port forwarding

haha i using a new client always 100 kb ++ lowest 50kb cause streamyx haven know this thing yet so haven block it is a rabbit sign.

Wow tis program is faster dl than b4..but cant use on p2p,so sad..

Any1 wan dl songs o anythin except tis bittorent files o p2p oni is recommended:-)

Is there a way to make Internet Download Manager to recognize Japanese/Chinese characters ?
It isn't switched on by default if i am not mistaken since i had been using it since version 5.05.

can anybody teach me how to set IDM as defautl download manager?
I did try to set to it default, but when i download some files, it download with windows download manager insted of IDM...

or can anybody teach me how to off windows downloader?

IDM->option->general->run module for click monitoring in ie browser->integrate idm into browser->checkbox(ie and firefox),click ok and you're done. restart browser.

I have a "Ah hem" version and used for a while..then suddenly after one day i update AVG free, the antivirus blocked my IDM....

guys, any idea?

internet download manager is the best downloading software for direct download.and it is fast.n p2p fastest downloader is xunlei.i like the speed for both of them

i've tried many download managers.... for rapidshare downloads... idm is the best out there...
