Hello everyone, I am Rosalyn and nice to meet you! I would like to share with you my personal project, a new film blog which I am continuously improving it in my own pace!
Currently, I am actively writing about movie reviews but mostly animated features for now. I have listed over 700+ animated features and 20+ animation studios in my blog; I have watched most of them and will watch again or those I haven't watch before when I am able, to write a movie review on them. As of now, I do not review films other than animated features except premiere screenings of the films I get invited to. Reasons because I would like to cover all of the 700+ films I've listed in my Masterlist and I am serious about it!
I started this blog due to self interest, I am a film lover! <3
The contents of my entries are: About Studio, Movie Poster, Trailer, Synopsis, Comments, Personal Thoughts, Who will like it, Movie Details, Official Website, Behind the Scenes, Favorite Character, Movie Quotes.
Feel free to explore my blog; comments and criticism of all sorts are welcomed! >< Hope you all like it and if you have any film recommendations, share with me alright?

Took a look at your masterlist. I daresay I had covered a good numbers of films in that list as well. If you did watched all those films, I'm impressed.

Hello btfan. I have watched most of the animated feature films I've listed (and will watch again or will watch those I haven't when I can) to write a review on them. If you have any recommendations, share with me ya. Thank you.

The most recent animation film that I had watched is Appleseed Alpha but I'm not too sure if you like that specific genre; sci-fi steampunk. Next on my list is Space Pirate Captain Harlock. My friend recommended it so I'm giving it a try

Maybe you'll really like it May I ask why you don't like Studio Ghibli's recent works? I have been wanting to watch their The Tale of Princess Kaguya (2013) but it's not released on DVDs yet. T_T

T_T Haha really? I didn't even realised it's from the same director. I can't say that Alphaseed Alpha is a masterpiece by any level but I think it's good enough to pass time. Nonetheless, I have higher hope for Captain Harlock. In any case, give it a try and let me know how you like it. Spirited Away is the first japanese animation film that I watched and it was such a great show that I went on to watch all Studio Ghibli's films. I wasn't disappointed even for those movies they released in the 80s. However, I can't say the same thing about The Borrower Arrietty and From Up On the Poppy Hill. Visual quality is good but the story is very dull and slow. In fact, for Poppy Hill, I couldn't even complete it I'm waiting for Princess Kaguya as well along with The Wind Rises. I have a bad feeling that Wind Rises will be somewhat similar to Poppy Hill since they share the same war times setting in Japan.

Sorry for the late reply, things have been hectic for me >< I'll watch the films when I am able to, the ones you recommend seems to be a rare one! Btw, I am almost done with reviewing most Studio Ghibli films, a little less than half left and will be posting the rest soon. I want to try to cover all the animated features in existence on my blog, hopefully in a year or two lol.

You need an open mind to enjoy Hayao Miyazaki works.
In fact, you need it for a large collection of anime out there.

Otherwise there's always the online copy lol If you're strapped for time, you can put it at the bottom of your priority list. I can't say it's one of the top five or even top ten films in my list. Well there's always going to be animated films being release year after year so your list is going to be a constant work in progress!

@andrekua2 The films he mentioned are not directed by Hayao Miyazaki but you are right. However, there are films that just doesn't appeal to everyone and of course there are also bad films out there in which even watching them with an open-mind won't help us in liking them. @btfan Thanks, haha. I'll do my best to keep this blog up!! Just updated, btw.
