I heard the pay is not really that good. But there's a lot of benefits. Many TARC graduates work there as tutor. The college even offer to pay for your master course in UK, but you need to bond with them for 5 years as a lecturer.

GOLDFRIES.
to clarify UTAR not only in PJ- which is the FICT, but in bandar sungai long - FAM and also setapak, FES. which will be moving to kampar in perak. as for KTAR. working there is ok la casue u dunned give a damn about the students. u do ur part and u get paid then enough already. but if u intend to work as a lecturer there especially engineering or anything related to science. its a no no |

QUOTE(lighching @ Aug 28 2006, 09:14 AM) Nope, but i do have a friend working in library there.Since TARC have some history, their working culture are pretty much fixed. There are lots of procedures, black and white, and everybody every department MYOB. After a while you work there, you will learn the art of tai chi really good. And yeah, ONLY deal with your boss and your own business there. And TARC job is considered iron bowl, because even with this kind of economy they still able to give out 4 months bonus O.o Confirm you will get your salary on pay day on time. Education is always in demand, remember that. The salary might not be that good, but the benefit is you get more in EPF and annual leaves, and the job wont be that stress and challenging compare to commercial line, pros and cons. Remember that after a while you stick with education line, you will find it hard to adapt to commercial life. Education line is relax. PS: UTAR more or less inherited the culture of TARC. QUOTE(lms2005 @ Sep 1 2006, 12:58 PM) The pay is actually not that bad. For Freshgraduate as tutor, they paid RM 0 +, plus at least 3 months bonuses. (U calculated urself).... Yes, their increment is very low unless u obtain new or higher qualifiacation or get promoted. PS need to good result to be tutor. I heard fr my best friend. She is a tutor there |
