1. uninstall apps that maybe listed with that kinda name or any apps that u know u never install it but they listed.
2. set all browser to default state. 3. run malwarebytes. 4. run ccleaner. 5. restart |

go to Control Panel -> Programs and Features
take a close look at the list of installed applications. Remove the irrelevant apps. Probably you are using "express installation" option most of the time, and accidentally installed malware at the same time |

installing cn programs always means installing other programs in behind
must be very careful when doing setup, don't juz click next next. for QQ, i only pick international version, not cn version. |

If editing registry and changing the default page doesn't work, check the program shortcut that you are using. Sometimes they add the address in the shortcut itself.

hello.. it happen to me and this is what I did:
1) Uninstall qvod player 2) After uninstall, there still some program running to hijack the browser. You need to stop in the task manager something call qvod webservices. 3) After stop the backgroup process, remove the file in "C:\Program Files (x86)\QvodPlayer" and "C:\ProgramData\QvodPlayer". Note: ProgramData is hidden file, enable view hidden file to view it. Btw, I'm using windows 8.1. Directory might be different depending OS. Please also take note if you not able to remove the files inside the folder, please rename it to something else and then delete it. 4) Reset you browser. Eg: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/reset-...x-most-problems. 5) Check if your browser still redirect to hao123 with the above steps. So far my browser back to normal after done above steps. 6) If still not working. Try your luck and follow this steps "http://malwaretips.com/blogs/remove-hao123-virus/" |
