normally before production, there'll be pre-production units.
these unit are for testing. or maybe sent to shorum for booking purposes.

later come the production units.
as to monitor quality, normally they come in batches.

to define batches is actually hard, unless u r in the design & assembly lines.
during design, there'll be review of design.
assembly lines may have 3, each line 200units/shift.

for layman, it's easier to say that unit >1000 (say only, katakan) is second batch so on so forth.

for me, if u have the luxury of waiting time, why dun just buy any product at mid-cycle or end-cycle.
why?
design is almost freeze as feedback already notified and problem already rectified.
assembly workers have more knowledge (mahir) in fitting the cars.

correct me if im wrong.

i got my very 1st batch of BOLD, thanks god, it even better then the latest batches that comes with couples of complains that i don't have. sometime its depend on luck also.

i perosnally think that Axia 1.0 E is a best buy if compare to the Viva 660 last time, specs a lot better with the same price 25k

maybe because it's EEV so they get the incentive for the price to reduce hmm.gif
*
yeah, with the priced of IRIZ, the AXIA will be hot cake, and already on top of my list brows.gif

I went to showroom and see edi. Overall looks quite nice apart from the metre cluster and rear lamps (the biji2 LED thing looks weird on this car).
*
for me the front bumper for G speck more practical. hmm.gif

Those tested the Axia G spec Manual, don't you think the clutch is abit too light ?? Like Perodua forgot to put the spring at the clutch pedal ?
The steering position is perfect for me. I'm 170cm. Rear seats however is so damn straight..
*

the clutch pedal ok for me, better then my KEMBARA.
yeah, the rear seats spoil everything, coz to make way for the luggage boot.doh.gif

I always saw green axia manual with 15" rim, loud exhaust, spoiler, dark tint and DRL at PJ area. The owner already beat the purpose as eco car.  doh.gif
*
i thinking of this also when i got my G-spec. brows.gif

Just to give you comparison

My Fiesta : I drive around 100-120km/h on highways , min would be 90km/h , normal roads are 40-60km/h

FC : 6.9l/100km , which is around 14.5km/l

Keep in mind , we are talking about NKVE here at times whereby the traffic can get crazy
*
name also city car, so santai-santai je layan jem. whistling.gif
my BOLD getting 10-11KM/ltr for 80% highway, and my KEMBARA only managed 12-13KM/ltr in 80% jam. i considering this baby for my kids to sharpen their driving skill. more economic. thumbup.gif

Bro, how could you compare 80% highway with 80% jammed?
*
sorry for missing something here. doh.gif
i'm not comparing. its just my reason why i should have the AXIA for my kids. if highway also my BOLD getting less then 12KM/ltr, worst then my daily used KEMBARA. just imagine if they ply around with it. shakehead.gif
