I got my Axia G Auto earlier Nov 2014. Have done over 700km by now.

Refilled full tank 3 times. My first tank give me about 11.5KM/L. ;
2nd tank 10.6Km/L based on my manual calculation. (The meter displayed the same readings as well) . I maintained eco drive over 95% of the time.

I just felt that FC is very poor compared to my Wira. My Wira when new can do 12-13KM/L. After 20 years (original engine without any overhaul) still can do 9+KM/L. Both are used on the same roads, i.e about 20% City, 50% Sub-city, 30% high way.

Is there any one doing worst than me?

Yes, I read most of the FC ave. is about 16km. Some even doing 23km! but there also got a few 11km.
Just wondering if the engine is produced at the same factory, how could the difference be so much.

I am not a heavy footer at all and yet got the worst FC. Am I just so unlucky got a sub-quality engine among the good ones?

Yes, but only once in a while and very short like 5 mins... During waiting I can see from the Meter that the most the reading drop a little bit only like 10.2 ..after 5 mins it drop to 10.1... so I presumed it is not the waiting that causing the bad FC...

This is the exact the rpms i have been doing... I never press over 2.5k rpm for all the gears. Some times I even force it to change gear by releasing a bit the pedal, it will immediately change to a higher gear...

yes exactly. Fill up full tank, then drive until 1 bar, refilled, then take the mileage done, and divide by the litre filled in.

I went to SC this morning, the foreman told me that he can't do anything. He advised me to lodge an official complaint, and just for HQ ppl to call me...

1. Yes, i just checked yesterday, they r all still 250kpa.
2. Actual not very often. I think i hv waited abt 3 times only so far.
3. I always put to 1/2 during sunny, 1/4 during raining day
4. I never carry anything except sometime shopping goods which only a few kilo the most (most of the
time only 1 passenger)
5. About 800rpm.

My first full tank only gave me 11.xKM/L; 2nd and 3rd tank worse - 10.xKM/L.
I don't understand this as it is supposed to be EEV with 20km/l rating and giving such low fc.
Even a Myvi with 1.3L or any other car can do better!

Engine out of tune? can't be, this is a brand new car!

I don't think so. All FC have been calculated manually with full
tanks till refills.

The display now shows 10.2 only! ( the actual not much different, only abt 0.xkm)

I think its for coins.

I just could not understand why the very same engine from the same factory some could differ so much!

I have been maintaining eco over 90% of the time and light footer too, yet the FC never improved.

I complained to SC but till today still no one from P2 seems to care to take a look at it!

Don't let me conclude that 'Made in Malaysia mah...', please...

I have reset a few times. Its goes up until 10.x and up and down there..

I am filling Petronas 95. Anyway, for my next refill, i will try Shell to see what's the dif.

There is little traffic jam in my area. So I think it is not the jam.
One thing I noticed when I first took the car is that the engine is very shaky when idling, unlike other kancil or viva with 3 cyl which are stable even though old engine. By right, Axia should be more stable than them.
I think the engine was not properly tuned in factory at all! Just wondering how good our QC in P2!

10 Days has passed and yet no one from P2 has called me as promised! Disappointed and
regret buying it.

Eng vibrating is clearly there is problem with the engine. They shouldn't release them to the market at all.

Yes, Mine is G Auto as well. The Engine vibrating till the rubber mounting seems to the max.

Sorry for if I ask how to break in the engine hard?

This is what puzzle me. I wanted a good FC car but turn out I got the worst FC compare to others of the same car!

Just somthing i cant understand .... same engine from same factory could differ so much.
Really admire those could get at least 19km/l.
