Some notice for my fellow G-Shockers. Some shop will try to cheat you when you go for a battery replacement. G-Shock got two main components. The outer rubber casing and the stainless steel watch module inside. In my case, the shopkeeper replaced the stainless steel module with some cheap knockoff while still retaining the original outer rubber casing. Luckily, i test all the buttons before i walk away and i quickly noticed that the function of each buttons have changed.

I pointed out the "discrepancies" and told the man to "fix it".

PK Time - very little models. lady boss said sold out just b4 CNY. i dun believe her. I got a feeling they holding on to stock in anticipation of price increase like Everdying mentioned a few posts above. only 10% discount.

City Chain - more models than PK time. probably double than PK time. no discount.

G Factory - small shop only so very limited no of Gs. saw some 7900s, complete GWA 1000 n 1100 range, some limited editions n some 6900s. couldn't remember d rest. kinda surprised that G Factory 1U had so little G shocks

Casio Isetan - had the most number models on display. no discount.

i still cannot find G5600E to try on or buy  . i guess i need to head to Sg Wang or Pertama. but im getting kinda sick running around looking for the 5600.

Paradigm mall is a much better place to browse n buy compared to 1U.

Hi all, i just got a gdx6900cm-5 and found that there is a gap between the casing and the glass surface.

Is it normal? Cause i will be wearing the watch for swimming, just wonder if it's safe for that.

Gap like the picture below. Looks common for this model or all the gshock?

Need some help here. My gshock ga110gb is still new and kept in the box but why the glossy band has turned into something like this ? No banging on the wall, drop, scratches head and only in the box. occasionally used cotton ball with water to wipe away the fingerprints. It has some white spots looking like water stain or smudges but it can't be removed with water n soap. This is so disappointing. I have kept it in the box and in dry dark place and today I saw this
