with very great difficulty.
even some ppl in SG managed to sync.

i been trying to sync with my rangeman and PRW6000, both no luck yet.

theres also an app called JJY simulator, but it only syncs with tokyo time.
maybe someone should modify for malaysian time...

Interesting. How much and where did you get your PRW 6000 for? I'm looking to get one of those as well. biggrin.gif

I see... I was hoping to get a discount from somewhere. I know that's the normal Marco price.

uhh no thats not the normal marco price.
it is rm1599, same as gulfmaster.

the cheaper one is the non-pvd stainless steel bezel without carbon fibre strap.
*
That's the board price lar, usually even at G Factory, they offer about 10% discount for all Pro Trek watches. But I've been looking at online stores and they do offer a better price. But I dare not buy it without having a look at the goods lar....

10% off RM1599 is only RM1439, and as mentioned i got mine below rm1.3k...20% off actually.
i'm thinking of changing to the version with titanium band...but i think that one is rm1.9k++.

which online stores are u looking at that offers a better price?
even chino also i see sells the PRW6000Y-1 at usd452.

Here bro.

Hmm, guess you're right, you did get 20% off. But this is likely not a Marco set. Is there a titanium version? drool.gif drool.gif I didn't manage to find it in their main site.

oh skeptical one, i told u already it is marco.
the box has the diimpot by marco sticker.
it also has a marco warranty card with dealer stamp and correct serial.
this is not the first time i am buying a marco set.

got 3 models basically, not including latest titanium yet.
user posted image
from left to right, SRP is RM1329, RM1599, RM1599.
yes like i already said earlier, the non-pvd bezel is cheaper.
like mentioned also, the model i got is the one in the middle.

if u actually check that davis link properly.
u will see he is selling my model at RM1399 (go to drop down menu on top to purchase to see price)
the RM1199 is only for the cheaper model on the left.
in short, davis is only giving between 10-12% off only.
this is the titanium version.

Oh no, more miscommunication. When I mentioned 'this' (bolded), I actually meant the set sold by Davis. I mean, since it's cheap (or at least I initially thought so), it wouldn't be a Marco set. Sorry for the ambiguity.

From your explanation, guess I got a lot of wrong info. Thanks for explaining. Is the Titanium version out in Malaysia now? Also, would you know if prices will drop in the near future (judging from their past models)? And if you don't mind, could you please share the shop which you purchased from? Looks like a good deal. biggrin.gif

ah ok.
davis actually isnt much cheaper than the 10% u said g-factory gives.

titanium version, no idea...i havent gone to g-factory to have a look yet.
i doubt prices will drop la, even older protreks like PRG240 / 250 also still more expensive than the newer PRG270 of which i have one also.

the shop later i go check receipt...but its on the 1st floor near the famous amos stall.
*
I see. Did you manage to check the price of PRG 250 there? That has always been what I wanted to buy (I have stalled my purchase for about 2 years now, lol) until I saw PRW 6000.

And thanks in advance for checking the shop name. Pls do let me know. Is this shop offering the lowest price you manage to find in Malaysia?

well i obviously havent travelled the whole of malaysia looking for the cheapest, so i wouldnt know tongue.gif
but i guess 20% off for marco set is pretty decent already, grey sets of cos cheaper here by about another 10%.
dunno what the price of PRG250 in shops, but u can see on mudah and lelong that its still RM800-900+.
i wouldnt really go for it anyway since its v2 sensor, unless of cos u prefer it more for looks, then again PRW6000 for me wins in that dept...and with v3 sensor...double win.
*
Yeah, I agree that for the watch itself, PRW6000 wins in terms of looks. But I really do like titanium.... Have you managed to find the shop name?

Thanks. Will be checking it out soon, once I decide on my watch. Btw, just found out the titanium ProTrek version is actually Sapphire glass. More reason to wait for it to come out.

Also, as I do more research, looks like I'm also open to GShock (more of the Analog / Analog + Digital versions). How do you guys even decide on which model to go for? rclxub.gif So many models with only slight difference between each of them.
