guys I am looking for a mens G-shock for sweaty sport/gym/swimming session purpose, rough use style.

So I no need to bring bulky fragile smartphone. Budget <less than RM500, not into Fashion, but more into reliability/functions/practicality = best value type.

min 5years battery life, I dont want those 2-3 years one, lazy to change. tough solar is fine but not needed(prefer money spend on else where).

G-7700-1= This one good? Seems a lot of feature for low price?
G-2900F-1V = What about this? I think 7700 is beating this.
GDF-100-1A = How about this any issue?

Any other recommendation? G-shock noob here. laugh.gif

*despite I said I not into fashion, please dont recommend me kids/rainbow colors. laugh.gif

alright.. gonna strike off the GDF-100-1A, it cost more but not useful.

About Timex, I am not sure I want those since i kinda want the shock resistant for rough use lol, aesthetically G-shock seems to have a upper hand here.

I guess is either 7700 or long battery/tough solar 6900 series

How many years those rechargeable battery life last b4 they require to replace?

not G-shock but Casio watch.

how u guys think about OutGear Casio watch? for example like metal wrist SGW-400HD-1BV?

are they the same thing like those sensor G-shock except without Shock resist? are they decent?

the only outgear i kinda like is the SGW500.
but even just looking at it in real life, u already know its not that durable.
at the price still again go get a basic like 5600 or 6900.

well I was thinking to have 2 watches for the price of 1 sensor G-shock. tongue.gif

a basic g-shock + a sensor watch than just 1. laugh.gif

better then just get a mudman 9300.
twin sensor, solar powered, and if look around can find below rm500.

yeah I have been eyeing that as well.

i think casio batt life is worse case scenario for those ppl who like to use the backlight alot.
*

the main problem is there is no guidelines on how they tested the watch and come up that approx battery life.( I cant search any)

Without that I cant guesstimate how long my watch will last base on my usage base on the casio claimed 2,3,5,7,10 yrs battery life.

atm, I just blindly aim minimum 5yrs and assume that I could get 6-7yrs batt-life. rclxub.gif

Yup! I compared it to the GA110 and 5600 each notch are slightly further apart o.o Guess i got no choice but to go and gain a bit more weight so that it could fit me nicer :/
*

I end up picking the less popular smaller G-shock 7700 over 6900 due to my smaller wrist lol

At least 7700 has a lot of unique features that Master of G is missing & look quite diff apart. If i get Master of G in the future, 6900 become redundant wheres 7700 complement the Master of G notworthy.gif

I gonna wait 18 months and see What Casio has to offer. brows.gif

how does the rangeman display more info?
the mudmaster looks to have basically the same operations module as PRW6000, and i also have a rangeman.
i dont really see any difference in the amount of info displayed.
*

it can display a graph chart together with the reading numbers?

I think if the mudmaster have more background digital display like the GA110 style, it would been able to archive the same thing the rangeman do.

yup graph chart, in any mode... alti + graph, baro +graph, baro graph + date.

I really like the 9400 watch very much, the only problem is it doesnt have blackgold theme.

If Casio come out blackgold theme + positive display like the 6900 series @ reasonable price, I will be all over it lol
