I think the sole reason to do RL is to limit the sales so it don't surpass consoles but I may be wrong. Preventing cross-region gifting won't make u gain extra money. Also people should tweet to both Kojima & Konami so they don't do the region lock. At least it's a start before they put the cuffs on

If that's the case why can't they just region lock Japan? Locking out gamers to buy their games are the most foolish things ever in my opinion. I'm still waiting for Lord of Shadows 2 too but i think they are not going to budge it.

I don't even have a DVD/Bluray drive anymore like many years ago. But you are right, installing from disc would be faster but then physical are bulky. Imagine you have 200 games and you have how many boxes and disc with you? How fast you can find the games you want? What if the disc scratches? That is why older days people make backups of their games so that the original are safe. There are really pro and cons of physical and digital.

they killed it with RM230 for me. i won't pre-order. back then retail was just RM125. now digital RM230? this is just bad.
