I've been wondering on a few points about V and Big Boss.
Like how in the world do you do hypnotherapy if he's in a coma, an unconscious state?
So if V has been out for 9 years, how long have Big Boss been out for? Wiki all stated that he's out for 9 years.
If so, how did they know V would be out for so long too?

So it dawned upon me that, IF Big Boss really was in a coma for the whole 9 years, then could it be that V was in an artificially induced coma all these while? Assuming that Zero decided on the whole Phantom thingy in that 9 years period and went ahead with the plan before Big Boss was briefed about it, it is very possible that V could have awoken any time in that 9 years, and when he was awake, that's when the hypnotherapy was done and all that to make him believe he's BB. After that, they put him back into induced coma until the real BB awakes (though that begs the question, how sure are they that the real BB would wake up one day?)

I came up with this line of thought, as when you first wake up and see Ishmael, he doesn't look like he's just awoken from a coma, so he probably woke up a few weeks or even a month or two before V, regain his muscle strength, catch up with world news, be briefed by Ocelot, hatch his plans etc. That would have taken quite some time. Then when he's confident with his recovery and being up to speed with current issues, he gave the go ahead to awaken V from the induced coma.

Is that plausible?

To me i think that Ishmael has been awake all the time, to protect Ahab. Thing is that, Ishmael cannot be Big Boss, because his right eyes is still there, the scene where he shoot the water pipe thing on top to shoo off the man on fire, you will see him take aim with right eyes.

Listen to truth records tapes. iinm Zero mentioned that BB WILL wake up. He's a tough son-of-a-*. And ocelot mentioned to BB to be there with V when he wakes up to put the pieces together. Heck, i dont even remember Quiet was in the hospital trying to kill BB until she was interrogated in MB. Lol
