What was the camera brand and model? Is that a Canon? That looks like a micro-USB or mini-USB port. You can buy those type of USB cables anywhere actually, even in Low Yat Plaza (can try looking around Sri Computers and Viewnet)... wink.gif

It's Canon A70.

How about the camera battery? Normally, the camera will low in battery when I use AA size, 1.5 volts. Is there any specific battery that I need to use in the camera?

Thanks for the reply.

It's Canon A70.
Then it should be a micro/mini-USB port. Thus just find the cable (should be quite easy)... nod.gif

Are you using normal AA batteries? Those will not last at all (dies/drained out quickly on digital cameras). Have to use Energizer Ultimate Lithium AA batteries... brows.gif

I have searched about my Canon A70 and Canon A490 camera specification online, but there said use alkaine batteries.
Do you know whether have rechargeable type for the one you recommend to me?

Thanks.

Alkaline batteries (still considered as normal AA batteries) don't long at all in this camera (as mentioned earlier). This Canon camera eats up batteries for breakfast. And even with the usual rechargeable batteries, goes limp quickly. Unless you use (expensive) very high capacity rechargeable batteries such as this: SANYO XX Eneloop 2,500 mAh rechargeable AA batteries. Myself also have a Canon camera, an old A580 model, and used Energizer Ultimate Lithium most of the time since they are always easy to find/buy (available in most major shopping centers)... icon_rolleyes.gif

Normal alkalines don't work will with digital cameras. Rechargeables works better. But keep in mind that this is an A70. A set of 4 lithium rechargable batteries with charger might cost more than the camera is worth now. smile.gif

The cables are sold in lots of places. I saw them in the RM5 shop near my house. When I went to a Maybank ATM, I noticed that a lady hat set up two tables outside the entrace. She had about 100 different kinds of USB cables. Well, actually they're the same. Just different colours/patterns/design etc. Functionally the same, but looks different.

Just bring your camera. You know what the computer end looks llike. It's only the camera end that's different. Eyeball it and see if looks like it might fit. Then just try. If you don't force it, it will not be damaged.
