I have stuffs done by Alex Ross (signed & unsigned) hanging on my house wall & most of his hardcover signed edition (Kingdom Come, Marvels & others) - I didn't notice him much when he did Marvels but when he did Kingdom Come, I was hooked to the guy.

Joe Chiodo is also one of my favourite artist with his funny looking STUFFS

Dan Brereton - one of his best endeavour would be (in my opinion cos I love it) the 7 issue Giantkiller which he was the Writer/Illustrator.

Well... if you are crazy about comics, you have list of artists/Illustrators which you would buy without second thoughts. I love Adam Hughes (AH), Arthur Adams, Barry Windsor Smiths to name a few. There's this another artist I like; Steve Rude. His art looks clean & 60s feel to it. Look at this World Finest done by him.

Another guy who is following AH footsteps is Frank Cho. His artwork is getting better & better everyday. His females are astounding (Hahahahaha....).

Love Shanna The She Devil (2005) and it was & still is gorgeous. He along some other notable illustrators did some card for Red Sonja recently but you can only get them online cos nobody brought it in... <sigh>

Bought this 2 card chromium set the other day from ebay. They'll only post it sometime end of next week. Man.. this guy is slow. Other Sellers would have taken a couple of days before they despatch the purchase.

This set is 1996 Batman Master-Series CHROMIUM Insert Set of 2 Cards (1:24 packs). Looks kinda interesting & have been looking for any good offer. Got it for slightly under RM40. RM20 per piece is quite ok I'd guess.

Currently & for the next 7 days or so, am bidding on few items on ebay. Hope these card set will make me happy once I've latched my hands on them

I think you are referring to this 9-foil etched card puzzle set. Card No.1 would be with the "W" letter top right corner. Its so frustrating if you can't find that missing one piece.

Now I realized what you meant to say was 1 of the 9 card puzzle is missing & now I know its Card No.9 - Bottom Left corner card with all the signatures

Won this from the Bay this morning. Now I'm 1 card shy from having the complete set of DC Skydisc card .

Its #SD4 SKYBOX DC COMICS VERTIGO DEATH SKYDISC. The photos attached are actual photos taken from the Seller.

Was a bit worried initially cos when I zoom in the card, it looks as though there's an imperfection on the left centre of the card. What do you guys think? Is the white thingy an imperfection or just a photo glitch?

Hell... I think you are right about the condition of the card. Oh well, if I'm not satisfied with its condition once I have it, I'll look for a better one again & again. Hahahaha... Getting old & getting bored. I think I'm gonna go to Earth 638 & try to convince them to bring in Marvel/DC cards. That way, I'm sure all card collectors will come out from their cocoon & maybe get the interest in cards renewed.

Bought the 1996 Batman Master Series Basic 90 Card Set last week cos the artwork looks nice. Probably sometime next week it'll reach my house.

The set is complimented with the below:
1) Artist's Proof set of 89 cards - A parallel "Artist's Proof" set was distributed one-per-pack.
2) Master Villians set of 10 cards (1:10 packs)
3) Spectra-etch set of 6 cards (1:6 packs)
4) Chromium set of 2 (1:24 packs) - the same as the one I posted earlier
5) Clearchrome set of 2 (1:120 packs) - the same 2-card Chromium set but its Clearchrome

The passion never stops. I was lost & dismay for awhile when the comic stores stopped bringing in comic related cards. But its there somewhere there in your heart. Hahahaha... Still buying but the thrill of opening every pack that u bought & hoping beyond hope of getting that special card has long cease to exist.

I'm a comic collector (and still is) before the comic stores started to bring in trading cards & I got hooked. Trying to complete the basic set, search for insert or chase cards. Buying & trading from fellow collectors.

Bagley's run on Amazing titles was stupendous. But a box of cards for RM500 is definitely too much for u & for most card collectors.

I think the newer sets are just as good or probably better but most trading card collectors lost their interest when the shop stopped bringing in new sets.

What they have left is a distance memory of it, of how great it used to be. That's why for people like u & me & most probably other collectors are stucked in the mid-90s. Cos that's when the card collecting was heightened but short lived.

Hope u'll get the Bagley's card sets soon.

Its the thrill of opening packs man. That's what it is! Hahaha... Good for you..

When I'm buying online for that missing cards, to fill in gap for mostly chase cards, I get excited. Waiting for the cards to arrive, I get excited. Opening the envelope when the cards arrive, I get excited. Then few hours later, its just another card kept safe from natural & humanly harm.

But hey, opening packs from boxes is sure will get any collector excited.
