I wish I could bring a console with me anywhere I go or travel. So, I'm looking for handheld console to buy. I think I won't buy many games on it.

People say 3DS only better than Vita coz' 3DS have more games. But now, I own a ps3, so I don't have problem with that. So I'm wondering...

Which one could give me better gameplay or experience for handheld console? Especially for soccer games..

Thank you.

Soccer games? Vita. First party games, I enjoy my 3DS better than Vita (Mario, Pokemon as well as Ace Attorney etc). I enjoy more old games on Vita though (FF7, FF8, FF9, Patapon etc).

It all boils down on personal preference.

Being someone who owned both of these handhelds, I must say I played 3DS more than my vita. Games on Vita doesn't seemed to have much replay value, we'll I'm speaking for myself. Played Uncharted, Gravity Rush, FFX, FFX-2, Disgaea, Zeros Escape and that's all. I did enjoy those games but it only lasted until I beat them. I'm not very excited about the upcoming game roster either for Vita either. 3DS, on the other hand, simply has so many great titles spanning across all genres. I'm not gonna list out those titles here as I think you might justify on that by visiting GameFaqs or YouTube.

Of course, if you like to collect achievements then Vita is the only choice. I'm not sure why buy Nintendo doesn't seemed to fancy it. I reckon that it too for I think it might ruined the purpose of gaming, to have FUN rather than hunting and checking out those faqs. Honestly I'm used to hunt those trophies on PSN but as I have less time to game now, I somehow glad that I'm not on poison anymore.

Sold my 3DS.. and might wait for "new" 3DS + Gateway 3DS v7.1 support.. totally feel fed up with the company and their f***ed up direction (on both 3DS and Wii U).. with their Asean region console without Malaysian eShop support at all (waited for a few years already)..

My favourite games on 3ds:
- Zelda series.
- Ace Attorney series.
- Pokemon.
- Chrono Trigger DS.
- Professor Layton series.

play soccer go Vita.
don play many games go 3DS, games like Animal Crossing, MH series, and Fantasy Life could make you occupied
travel a lot buy 3DS, you'll get excited with the streetpass feature, 3DS XL got longer battery life than vita i guess.
