we got Theo, Ox and now Sanchez. really fast players. and in the middle Ozil, Cazorla, Rosicky to supply passes. Wenger is an idiot if he can't see that Giroud is slowing the attack unit. make good sense to trade him for another fast striker, after seeing how Pool's and City's fast-paced attacking demolished us and everyone else. its all about speed now.

IMO, perhaps Giroud was bought because we simply had little money back then, and his sentiments for French players. he maybe wanted to replicated the almost-winning team of 2008 with someone big up-front like Adebayor.
