there really is a missing time lapse in your time line. it's like 80'S-->xxx--->late 90's---> 2000's till now. i find this partially interesting.

have to admit though, lots of those cartoons actually have better english opening themes. macross, saber rider, voltron and a few more are much more known by their english opening.

i can't spot daimos and grendizer in there, those 2 i remember well.

not many series can hold up against the alternators/binaltech in terms of design and engineering. i was actually expecting TFTM would follow the alternators concepts, but they decide to go with guyver rejects concept.

agreed, BT is only good if you want it to just "sit there". alt would stand better against dozens of transformation. also, alts are less prone to tipping over because of the lighter weight. worst of all, BT is susceptible to "zinc rot". look it up, nasty stuff.

look at what it did to my MP01. i'll only buy plastic stuff from now on.

the dotm lc op don't have electronics? well learned something new today.

on that note, just looking at some pictures, the striker OP is doesnt have the buster rifle? (seems jetwing is the one with the buster)

the tab is only one of it (the most annoying one). there's the torso peg that makes the transform sound and the button that makes the truck sound.

hahah...it's bad(in a good way) enough he takes close to 20 mins to transform, having him say "i am optimus prime" a dozen time in the process is a real PITE. my batts were removed since the 1st day.

on that note, not all TRU carry the same stuff. there are the lesser and the major branches. major ones like MV, 1U and some others would have all the good stuff. lesser ones like jaya shopping center, paradigm mall and others would NOT have everything. so if you cant find it in one of the major ones, it's not likely you'll find it in the lesser ones. so plan yourself for disappointment.

that budget not gonna be enough to get G1 stuff from the 80's. even an encore version would be about 300-400 or even more. i gave up on G1 long ago and just get what you like that you can afford .
