Who knows the price of KO MP10 previous batch? Recent PO @ RM320 is a bit steep. I thought its only around RM250 or something. At this price might as well go for Hasbro reissue, got trailer some more..

My haul from STGCC yesterday. Too bad the electronics not working anymore due to suspected battery leakage. Wish there's a way to fix it..

Never before I've been so tempted to buy an MP like this MP22. Last time it was the MP Lambor but already missed the boat and the rumored reissue never made to light had to settle for the lousy KO. I always thought that MP is highly expensive for a hobby so I always steered away unless there is something I really like and its quite cheap compared to retail (I only got 2 MPs, Acid Storm @ RM250 and Prowl @ RM170).
Now seeing all the beautiful pictures and rave review on youtube on him with the amazing engineering feeling really tempted to buy it now since I've got some bonus to spare a bit and while the price still not goreng kaw-kaw..Found cheapest RM535 on ebay. Wondered if got somewhere else is cheaper. What is the PO price for him? This post has been edited by lord_aminkin: Dec 29 2014, 06:43 PM |

QUOTE(omichael @ Dec 29 2014, 07:01 PM) Don't forget it's still quite easy to get the MP Lambor G2 version which comes with badass weapons and a ridiculous(ly cool) face sculpt The reason I did not get him is because not really appealing to me at all especially in alt mode partly due to the color . For MP Lambor mold I only like the original and Tigertrack variant.![]() This post has been edited by lord_aminkin: Dec 29 2014, 07:13 PM |

Those who constantly shop in Singapore, what is the current retail for MP22? And which shops offer the best price? Probably gonna be more pricey due to weak ringgit but then again its + RM20 something for shipping if I'm gonna buy through online. So, weighing which will be the better option.

QUOTE(VDread @ Dec 29 2014, 08:08 PM) Shipping might be a bit higher than that Bro. As the whole MP22 weighs nearly 1KG. He's a heavy fella. Actually it is RM20..http://www.ebay.com.my/sch/i.html?_from=R4...w=mp22&_sacat=0 |

Nope. Takde langsung. As long as I can get it really2 cheap. Hahahaha..kidding~
I know its the casualty of being indecisive and play the waiting game like me since I got other priorities need to consider when the PO come out. Actually I'm not really looking for PO price. Happy enough if I can still get it at retail price. But if there is another option at even cheaper price, then by all means why not. |

QUOTE(omichael @ Jan 27 2015, 07:42 AM) There are definitely no guarantees when it comes to one's collection retaining its value. But most of the time, MP figures and to a lesser extent reputable third party figures are a safer bet than most other lines. For me, I never bought my collection for their future values. I bought them because I like playing with them, seeing them on display. And if later I need to fund for something else, I will sell the one I least like at the price I think is what their worth. If luckily their value increase I make some money, but if not probably lost a few bucks but for the experience I gained owning them is hell worth it. I care less about the market value and most of previous sale hardly making any profit. Just my two cent A big reason is because many of these high end figures are not carried by mainstream retailers, making them less available in the market, and also less likely to get deeply discounted... like what recently happened to Generations Jetfire at Aeon. And to other "acclaimed" non-MP figures, like Generations Springer. The TRU MPs are an exception to this trend, they go on sale periodically but then also tend to get scalped and go up in value again later. See TRU's MP Grimlock and their last batch of MP10. It's also quite rare to find a hobby shop offering substantial discounts on MISB MP figures. Especially anything that came after MP10. This in turn helps hold the value of BIB MPs, so they don't drop TOO much. Not that I'm suggesting a collector should even care too much about market values. It's just for fun. What really matters is the value the owner himself gets out of his collection |
