Love how the helicopter rotors are angled downwards.

I wonder if all of them can be detached and made into a sword? Or just one?

Not really a transformer collector, but hear they're coming out star saber of transformer victory. Do any one have a link for more details?
Star saber is my favorite, thinking of getting it.

That's what I'm afraid of, hahaha. My next purchase will be MP-10, but not this month.
*
Reissue coming soon, get in your preorder while you still can, prices will likely shoot up after that.

I mean... how many more times can they possibly recolor/reissue MP-10? tongue.gif

Hey guys I've been out of the loop when it comes to third party Predaking...

But all the pics are poisoning me sad.gif

So just want to ask your opinion - what's a better package, TFC Ares or MMC Feral Rex?

TFC is like RM500 cheaper, right? Is MMC's worth the extra $$$?

Thank you for the awesome feedback on Predaking guys.

Based on what I've seen, I prefer MMC to TFC too.

Still not sure if it's worth the extra RM500 though. That's a lot of money!

Thats good then. Hopefully when they do one, I'll be able to afford it as Bruticus is my favourite combiner.

Hexatron is still pretty tempting.  sweat.gif

Hexatron is awesome. My first third party figure.

He's the reason I was disappointed when I got my first Warbotron figure... cause his build quality and engineering is really quite impressive in comparison.

Really that good?

I saw that a shop still have 2 in stock for RM550. I know its a bit high but that the first run version.

From the box, he looks a bit underwhelming because it is mostly bare plastic. I guess you have to hold it in hand to see how good is he. sweat.gif

The transformations looks sweet though.
*
I guess how good he is depends on your personal standards.

His plastic quality is solid by any standards I've seen, and he has a nice weight.

Engineering and proportions are good considering he's a six changer... but perhaps lacking in details and paint apps compared to something like PE Warden.

Definitely worth owning in my opinion.

AFAIK the V2 comes without the shurikens or katanas, which IMO takes away a lot of his character. How to be ninja like that? hmm.gif

shurikens are one pic which i cannot seem to find.. i've seen the katanas, and they're really neglectable for me, prefer the chest design and color scheme of the V2 though
any pics with the shurikens to sway my decision?
*
Here's one from Google images:

And here's a closeup:

As you may know the shurikens are actually embedded in his wheels... so they're kinda like a part of him, and not just accessories.

If their absence doesn't bother you then better go for v2? Will be quite a bit cheaper also.

Ahem, as one final bash to V2 Hexatron, don't forget that chrome, while it looks nice at first, is also more prone to chipping and discoloration in the long run...

bash away tongue.gif chrome on weapons are fine, paint chipping will likely be at the handle where it comes in contact with the hands, which won't really be seen much when you have him holding the guns.. chrome hubcaps? no problem! i'll take those any day compared to the flat grey shurikens laugh.gif
V2 is cheaper which is definitely a plus.. i'm leaning towards getting that one.. swords or no swords, hexatron seems like a great piece to have
though the cleavers are very tempting
*
I beg to differ. The chrome on my Generations Jetfire attachments, for instance, came chipped out of the box (which doesn't bother me, given the price - but it's worth pointing out that chrome on weapons is by no means infallible).

Discoloration over time is also something that's unavoidable with chrome, regardless of whether you touch it or not.

I guess it's fine if you don't mind having a figure that looks better at first, but starts looking old much faster. To each his own smile.gif

to each his own indeed, but overall i wouldn't mind THAT much (or at least not as much as some perfectionists)
i know these materials tend to age overtime, and i figure it's unavoidable, so at least they can look good before that happens laugh.gif
*
Given that, and also given the price difference between v1 and v2, I believe you are making the right choice!

Just realized the 'Special Gift' for the MP10 issue has been revealed:

http://x2otoys.com/goods.php?id=425

I don't get it... what's a Vector Sigma gift set?

EDIT: OK so it's a yellow ball with a golden key... right...

The one you posted has far nicer proportions though. Just the cockpit area looks a lil off...

+1 for MMC and Fansproject.

I consider most of the others 3P manufacturers to be significantly riskier than the above.

Looks like Generations Brainstorm is a risky buy at the moment:

Good luck to whoever preordered this guy.
