I'm saying this is a hypothetical OPTION for sellers to minimize the risk of giving discounts to group buyers, since group purchasing has more chances of going haywire compared to one person buying in bulk. Of course it doesn't apply to you, because you are buying as an individual.
nop... normally i purchase with others probably 2 - 4 tumpang together, except others doesn't interest on what i purchase. Sometimes I do tumpang others too. It is still manageble for now. We dont force others purchase just to get better price. We are cool and easy
That's cool, but not relevant to this discussion. The point here is solely about using group buying to negotiate discounts. If there is no discount, there is no point taking the trouble of buying in a group.
You may discuss for discount if you confirm have the numbers. Not discuss then only find people, normally it will not work well, except your price is bloody good people come to you depends on your luck. I have negotiate with a few supplier and it didn't work well. Thus I take the trouble to reseach and get from best price seller for now.
Basically a sweet spot needs to be found. The group should be big enough for the seller to be willing to offer a good discount. But not so big until it becomes unmanageable. For instance, I wouldn't mind being in a group with YOU and a few other regulars here - because I know we're all serious about TF, and most of us would do our best to not spoil our own reputation in the group
If you ask me 10 person per group may not easy to be manage as you can't satisfy everyone, and you can't guarantee everyone will purchase everytime as everyone have their own focus. The best is you become a reseller get distributor price.
