Hi, Im planning to buy the ps4 Japan Set from iPmart.com.my. Is the website reliable? Anyone encountered any problem with this website b4? Should I buy Japan Set? Is the firmware the same? Personally I have limited budget and I don't mind about the warranty, that's y I go for Japan Set. Should I pay more for Sony warranty or Japan Set will do just fine? does the delivery take a long time for ipmart ? Need some advice before I order. Thanks.

U should be fine with purchasing from iPMart. It is quite reliable. I've bought an Xbox One thru iPMart before. I can say their service is quite good.

The only con about getting consoles which is not officially supported by Sony Asia is just the warranty. Don't worry about the firmware and such stuff. It's all the same.

As for warranty, if u go with Japanese set, iPMart did state that 1 year warranty is given compared to Sony's 2 year warranty. If there's any problems with the machine, just send it back to iPMart.

About delivery of ur purchase, it won't take long to deliver as long as iPMart has stock for the particular item. Just ask them about stock availability before purchasing. Bear in mind that if u ordered an item which is out of stock, they won't notify u about it and will only deliver it to u when they have stock in hand. Most ppl wonder why they didn't get their item soon and their order has been delayed. This is the reason why.

So, don't worry about reliability but it's still up to u to decide.

Hi , i already bought the ps4 from iPmart and the item are currently under delivery , so when i receive the ps4, will the main language be Japanese ? Can i skip firmware 1.5 and start away download 1.75 , I'm going to download the firmware from official website and install it through usb.

Language not sure. Most likely defaulted to Japanese but it's quite easy to change to English from the settings menu.

As for firmware updates, I believed that the support page will only allow us to download the latest firmware. Older or obsolete ones will be removed from their site.

If bought a RM700 item, you can say goodbye to your rm700 if you claim for warranty. Because they are not going to return your warranty claimed item. They lie and cheat. Say the warranty claim would take 2weeks-2months, its passed 2 months now and I have been waiting for very LONG LONG time now, still no news about my phone. Its the same reply every time I ask them: you product is still in warranty claim process blah....

You cant expect the product you bought will be in good condition forever, so when its time for servicing, you will face a lot of problem.

What phone? AP or ORI?

good luck buying in ipmart .if lucky u get a good set and no problem within 1 years . pray hard after received form ipmart .

if got any problem within warranty period you can kiss your ps4 good bye

Should be okay, i bought my ps4 from Japan though. I just change the setting to English is not big deal. I have asked Japan Retailer that i can send warranty to local Sony center as long as you got warranty card and receipt.

Haha, ya i bought it from them a long time ago and everything is alright but i requested pick up from the HQ in PJ because i dont trust the delivery.
