Guys, just started playing for a week. I am about to power up my 3 star monters with other 3 star monster. Those used as feeding... will their RUNES LOST AT THE SAME TIME or the game will auto return the runes back to me?

guys i summon monster with mystical scoll (3-5 stars) now or wait for some special event or high percentage drop on certain monsters in later events?
