skill effect % * [100 - (ACC% - Eff%)]???

from something like this??

-Rule 1: There will always be a 15% chance of resist effect no matter how much lower is the effect res %.
-Rule 2: If Acc% is higher/equal, Rule 1 will apply.
-Rule 3: If Res% is higher by 15% or more, that % in different will be the chance of resist effect.(It take a Res% higher than Acc% by 100% for the effect to be completely ignored.
​-Rule 4: Acc% does not increase skill success %, it only determine if the target will have additional chance of resist.

-Let's take Water Mystic Witch "Toad Poison" as example,(75% change of success at skill level 1)
-Target which the spell is cast at have a effect res of 30%

Example 1) You have 0% extra effect acc.
->Chance of success = 75% - (75/100 x (30%-0%) = 22.5%) = 52.5% chance of success.
Example 2) You have 25% extra effect acc.
Chance of success = (75% - (75/100 x (15%) = 11.25%)) = 63.75% chance of success.
*Rule 1 apply as the different in Res% is less than 15%(30-25=5%)
Example 3) You have 50% extra effect acc.
Chance of success = (75% - (75/100 x (15%) = 11.25%)) = 63.75% chance of success.
*Rule 1 apply as the different in Res% is less than 15%(30-50=-20%)

Well its just all about probability. Sometimes, even with 25% chance you can get it 100 times out of 100 times. 25 out of 100 is only absolute if the number of attacks is infinity.

This kind of mechanism really need some in depth testing or clarification from developers. Closest way is to get a mule and somehow meet at the arena. That way, you know how much resistance the enemy has. Then hit him in several sets of 100s and average out the chance of getting a stun. laugh.gif

well the formula i get from guide, the 150% is because joker 2nd skill is mount bomb right? didnt state the % there so its 100%, and it receive 50% accuracy = 150%? rclxub.gif rclxub.gif


well, from the formula there, fairy 3rd skill stun rate about 19% where my Acc 7%, Eff 30%, i think it is fair coz if i only hit 4 then at most 1 stun only


coz, with my 7% Acc only and with ur formula, i cant stun a thing..... means the despair rune will be for nothing......

Imagine this, if you say the rate is 124.5%, this means out of 100 attacks, you'll stun your enemy 124 or 125 times. Doesn't make sense right...

fire fairy's 3rd skill doesn't stun naturally, so if you have despair rune it'll be 25% chance of potentially causing a stun. What do you mean by Eff?

oh wait, its the other way round

= 100 * [100-(87-30)]
= 85% max

that means actually fire joker doesnt need focus rune???? shocking.gif coz the skill itself got ACC 50%, well unless they use wind succ as ldr for 40% resistant

Hi guys, been lurking in tis forum for a while now. Just started playing about 2 weeks ago =p

I'm in a dilemma. Just got a water sylphid and don't see anyone using her much. So between water fairy and her, which would you guys prefer?

Oh wait I get it now.... I think its this way, which probably makes more sense. Lets use back the previous example of 45% accuracy and 20% resistance on enemy.

Fire fairy's 3rd skill does not stun naturally and equipping despair rune gives a 25% chance of stun. So 25 out of 100 attacks will be a potential stun.

Now your accuracy is 45% which is higher than your enemy's resistance of 20%, which makes those 25 attacks a for sure stun. But, the game's rule states that there will be a minimum 15% chance to resist.

Therefore out of that 25 attacks that could stun, only 21 or 22 of it will be a stun.


Incidentally, if your accuracy is lower than the enemy then you would only have a maximum of 15% chance to stun, which is about 3 or 4 attacks out of 100.

Hiyas all!

After weeeeeks of playing this game... almost got enough fodder to make a 6*.

At this point, I really have 2 options based on usefulness for me:

Unawakened Wind Archangel vs Awakened Badass Wind Warbear (25k hp in arena at the moment)

Any comments? whistling.gif


@ dembaba: I am trying to sneaked into the guild. Just sent a request.

I wouldn't recommend either.

Archangel is there for its skills and leadership buff, not stats, leave it as it is as of now. Awaken him instead.

Wind Warbear is amazing for tank and dmg output but he is way too passive in battle.

Get somebody that could initiate a battle, or deal massive dmg to bring him to ur 1st 6 star.

1. how to counter wind warbear n rina in arena defense? (i mean that they are attacking me with either wind warbear or rina)

2. wind warbear still easy to kill in defense after the skill changes? (when i m the one attacking)

3. if i need a water healer, lulu or water werewolf(max skill)
- lulu can cure
- werewolf heal 45% hp and increase speed

Answer time!!

1. Dont bother, AI cant beat human.

2. Yes still easy. 50% of wind warbear is only 50% of his max potential not enuf to kill. Bring rina in, element advantage says wind warbear must hit rina with clean shot=.= wont die. Or, stun de fella at approx 50% hp. clean it up.

3. lulu. Thats if u need a water healer. All rounder goes to water werewolf.

Best healer is light bearman lol

ya, AI cant beat human..... thats y i fell miserable in defense and trying to improve in many ways cry.gif

and so thats mean wind warbear are still easy to beat in defense, then maybe i ll exclude him in my defense list

in defense, AOE dmg better or Single Target?

yes, but if defense, if only the fire fairy can last and maybe fair up with attacker.... rina.... i wonder to to beat her when i kena attack by rina...... since that BEACH not appearing in front of me in any means........

Until they introduce real time defense replay dont bother tinkering with defense setup.

depending on ur playstyle AOE n single target works well wither way.
