Just update to v23 via OTA this afternoon.

Does not feel any changes as it just mention update on mi cloud security.

I do i factory reset delete all apps and data. Once done i found that Backup apps icons went missing and have to go Settings --> Backup & Reset there to restore or do backup.

Some icon is missing as well as i saw the main screen got one icon space is empty. Also got one extra apps call KuaiPan.

Still setting my phone from zero. Later only test see got whats new.

Me facing this after upgrade firmware from v14 to v22.....
on v14 is ok..... now i downgrade back to v14 =_=

if like that , you got 2 choice

1) get a new sim card from operator (i think these days those new sim card can be convert to normal or micro sim)
2) get a new micro sim tray


both same price. Which one is your choice ?

By the way, i found out activate the mi cloud will cost one SMS RM0.15

I am using Digi prepaid all the time, once i slot my sim card in, switch on machine for first time, come to key in pin for sim card, the phone start suck internet data and causes RM8 gone =_= , belum sempat set the wifi password or turn off mobile data =_=

lesson from this, take out sim card and do setting until done only put the sim card in.


*** Previously Sony Xperia phone will ask you key in wifi password first before come to download internet setting for the sim , so can avoid active mobile data before wifi.

is there anyway to format the buildin SDCard ?

i wanna perform fully clean install.
