Thanks for the head up.
Shall just let it charge with Xiaomi original charger since it will have whole night to charge, no worry for slow charging.

i prefer not to have any phone or power bank , or gadget charging during night sleeping time for safety purpose.

If you have Xiaomi PB, you will notice that when it charge a phone to full status, it will STOP charging even if you leave it connected to powerbank the whole night. Your phone will start draining its own battery instead. This is a very good safety feature.

If you charge via normal charger, it will change to trickle charge that supply minimal amp to keep your phone at 100% till morning. At trickle charge, both phones and charger are cool too touch coz only minimal current goes thru.

hmm...thanks for the sharing! wondering if the exploded xiaomi PB confirmed is fake PB?

The one I ordered on Tuesday just left Hong Kong too... and I thought they had a batch of them in Malaysia already. I guess I don't have to hope it arrives on Saturday... I just hope it won't be like dx.com, have to wait a month...

Ok, just saw the estimated arrival time. Monday the 25th? cry.gif

My opinion, if you can wait, just wait it out. Mi4 shouldn't be long

Well, your expectation is low...
*
Sad to know the dissapointment u experienced with ur piston earphone.

Frankly i dont feel as bad as u commented on the earpeice, and of cos pls dont compare with rm200+ iem, it may be u having too high expectation. Rm50, with its sound and build quality, cant expect more .

Pls dun revert to say my expectation is low, just sharing, cheers

I did not say its not worth RM50.

All Im saying its a waste of time, given how people rated it. Moreover, it sounded the worst when being used with Mi3.

I didnt say its overpriced, just over-rated. Thats all.

Would I buy again? No... its just a very average IEM. Having said so, I kinda expected the hype people given to Piston2, but would like to hear how good it could be. Definitely not good at all. Maybe you bought it because its only RM50, but I bought it because people say it could sound as good as RM200-300 IEM. I wanna hear it myself if there's any truth to that.
*
Pretty butthurt huh, paid rm50 expect to get rm200 to 300 iem quality haha then now whinned and said ppl low expectation.
I used to spent little on headfi, even some rm200 iem may b worse quality then xm piston. I am pretty impressed by spending rm50 gotten its sound and quality for average usage.

If u r looking for better iem , u may consider klipsch s4 someone in garage sales selling rm200+-.

And u may want continue using the piston, may be it can burn in for better sound, cheers!

Hmm... How should I said it?

It's not like I did not expect the hype thing. I just never imagine it would be so bad. I haven't bought any headphone in the last few years. I had no idea what and how a RM 200-300 headphone sounds today.

What I had for comparison was a RM15 Altec Lansing UHP336 iem I bought from a warehouse sale and a RM120 Mylar 1B that I bought  5 years ago. It didn't beat either one. So I was wondering what kind of junk you bought for RM200-300 nowadays that the Piston2 beat. It didn't beat the Philips HP890 that I bought for RM120 as well (sold it to a cousin)

No doubt I find the sound before setting for mi3 is better.

To conclude ur assessment , harvey norman has sampe of iem for testing, sound quality aside, some looks so ugly and fragile

Haha no, I am not implying we are cheapskates. I am just giving the impression to others out there that we are using a value for money smartphone  thumbup.gif And also to tell them that Samsung is just overrated.
*
agreed, thanks to few china brand smartphones that made more choices for the market with lower price.

XM really made me change my impression, i hv used mi3 before and now using mi4 which installed with mi market, video music and even themes have more choices than local XM phones, even ringtone setting is link to song download to be set as ringtone which Samsung do not provide.

one thing i think it need time to prove, long lasting of its built
