QUOTE(ccy1989 @ Sep 10 2006, 10:27 PM) Well this could be last season for the zealots to spams in Mclaren fan thread coz Kimi will be joining Ferrari for the next season. I think the otherwise would be true, since Alonso will be in McLaren next year |

I watched the qualifying session too. Im very much sure that alonso's far enough to leave enough room for massa, well at least thats what the camera shows. But during that moment, i got this feeling that ferrari's gonna whine at FIA to get alonso some sort of penalty, and hey, my guess is 100% correct. Conclusion? Ferrari and FIA stewards slept in the same bed
Btw, verx, those are clearly not a moron, just a very obvious anti-alonso/ferrari zealot |

Good result for today
2-3 finish for today is more of a luck. Imagine if Massa didnt had that breakdown, maybe McLaren would end up in a 3-4 instead. I definitely hope the car would develop they way they did in 2005, from a so-so car to a really competitive/dominant one over time, minus the frequent breakdowns of 2005 of course |

QUOTE(linkinstreet @ Mar 18 2007, 10:34 PM) I do believe that once Fernando knows that he cannot catch Kimi, he was content on just staying behind Lewis and just get ready to pass him on that final stop. He was quite fast after that, but he might want to save teh engine for Malaysia I hope you're right on this one. But there's something to ponder about. During qualifying, Kimi was 0.4sec faster than Alonso. Considering both burned the same amount of fuel, the difference of fuel load between the 2 cars is like 3 laps. Is 3 laps of fuel worth 4/10 of a sec? If yes, maybe both cars have a similar pace. Anyway, now looking forward to Malaysian GP. Hopefully McLaren can get the first win of the season there |

QUOTE(verx @ Jul 6 2007, 02:50 PM) Why would we stop supporting the team? So that fools like you can make fun of us? Just ignore those Ferrari fanboys. Looking at their thread, you can clearly see that most of them have the mentality of a 7 year old (most of them hoping for easy win by hoping/praying/cursing that the mp4-22 will break down, and a few even hope the alonso will crash and burn to death). Wait, that certainly isnt what a 7 year old would think of, its something that only comes out from minds of people who lost their sanity. Cursing ppl to crash and burn is simply Go back to the Ferrari forum where u belong Anyway, good to see Hamilton leading the pack in practise 1. Hopefully he can maintain that throughout the weekend |

QUOTE(faris21 @ Jul 8 2007, 01:32 PM) mclaren will beat ferrari kaw2 tonight, alonso on heavy fuel load, this make kimi worry if alonso can overtake him in first conner If alonso's really on heavy fuel load, he's gotta have really good acc to take on kimi at the start. But looking back at French GP, ferrari seems to have improved their acc alot. Kimi easily flew pass Hamilton at the start Anyway, good to see Hamilton on pole. Hopefully he can have a better start compared to last GP |

QUOTE(faris21 @ Jul 9 2007, 12:48 AM) Dude. Let's not make some anti-Hamilton remarks here ok? This is a McLaren thread after all. Which ever of the two drivers win will also benefit the team as a whole. With the Ferrari charging up the WDC, I rather see Lewis taking more points to minimize the possibility of the team losing this season's crown. If you wanna post anti-Hamilton remarks, open your own Alonso-worship thread |

QUOTE(Raikkonen @ Jul 10 2007, 04:16 PM) Everytime you post some remarks on McLaren drivers, I really LOL'ed hard. It's very clear that you will post some sort of stuff to condemn whoever on earth that poses a championship threat to your beloved Raikkonen. You HATED Alonso, for beating Raikkonen and now Hamilton too? So you said you HATED Alonso because he's arrogant. May I know what's the reason you hate Hamilton now? Arrogance again? I dont see how arrogant this chap is. Or simply because he's leading the championship standing while Raikkonen isnt? Gosh even Massa wasnt spared by you in the early season when Massa held some advantage over Raikkonen. Now that Massa is being lead by Raikkonen, I could really see you posting less anti-Massa remarks. You really should learn to HATE less. It's just a sport for you to enjoy watching. If it creates that much of hate in you, I'd suggest you to stop watching altogether. Besides, what do you get when any of "your" drivers win? Share their prize? Just chill man, when your favourite guy loses, you dont have to go "OMG THAT WINNER SHOULD CRASH/BLOW-UP/_____ (fill in the blanks here) BECAUSE HE BEAT MY FAV DRIVER!!!" or go "OMG WE ROCK, EVERYONE ELSE SUCK!" when your guy wins. QUOTE(advanced @ Jul 13 2007, 03:21 PM) From your statement above, I have to salute you. You have definitely proven to this world you're the type who supports whoever wins QUOTE(cristiano7mu @ Jul 13 2007, 03:47 PM) any of mclaren fans here ever read the ferrari thread. Dont blame them. You should notice that most younger generation is heavily influenced by ferrari particularly schumi because when they first watch F1, they were bombarded with a streak of schumi/ferrari wins i was like OMG... how come they are soo childish... always post somthing like, <hope mclaren start from the pit from nx race onward>, <kick them out of F1> and sooo on. They need self satisfaction huh? QUOTE(advanced @ Jul 13 2007, 04:18 PM) No smoke without fire, thats because mclaren did something wrong, anything we can talk about except this?and what the others post assulted you?your Criticism to ferrari's fans just because its all about bad/negatif of mclaren, you would probably say ferrari fans are fantastic if we praised how fast is mclaren all over the ferraris thread, you hear someone say something you dont like and make critism to them, but what we talk are facts Fact is we never made bad wishes to ferrari when they were caught with their pants down. Flexing bodyworks, tyre covers and not forgetting ferrari/schumi controversies over the years. Before the FIA come up with punishments for ferraris, we didnt talk trash like wishing that they got banned etc etc. Anyway, you really dont have to defend those in the ferrari thread |

QUOTE(karhoe @ Jul 13 2007, 11:01 PM) Please, don't try to act as if you are DAMN mature, I believe what most of us wish is for Mclaren to face stiff penalties if they are found guilty, and with all the proofs that Ferrari got, such as the enginners of both team proposing to honda team, the alleged sabotaging, the espionage, definitely all Ferrari fans will be pissed, so we are voicing that out in our thread. Well, I would say if a faster car hit a slower one, its very likely that the slow one is at fault. Well, at least from what i saw over the years, this type of accident is usually caused by the slower one refusing to let the faster one through. So yes, if that case happen, I will say Hamilton is at fault especially if the speed difference is VERY SIGNIFICANT. I dont give stupid biased judgement ok? Why did you assume I'm this type of person? Unless you yourself is one? Imagine what will you guys say if the FASTER Kimi accidentaly hit the SLOWER Hamilton during the previous track, and Kimi is investigate by FIA, surely you guys will start saying the same things in your thread. Btw, I dont have anything against ferrari fans in general. Just ferrari fans IN LYN in particular, are immature. As far as I can see in other F1 forums, the ferrari fans there are far more mature and wont make stupid/inconstructive posts Feel free to continue flaming me |

QUOTE(advanced @ Jul 14 2007, 04:39 AM) lyns ferrari fans are immature?you've directly insulted to all ferrari's fans in lyn,and can you justify your sentence above? Hmm, do notice that in all my previous posts, I said "most ferrari fans" here are immature. But for the last post, I missed out that word. This time you really caught me red-handed for leaving out one word that could change the meaning of things by a lot. And for that, I apologize IMHO,judging your post you are not against what ferrari fans critism of mclaren but your self, you say ferraris fans(lyns) are immature, posting stupid/non-constructive post, its just an utter excuses/expresses of how you hated what the fact we posted,as you just hated on what ppl criticism on anything related to you, moreover flaming to you, glance at you post ,biased?i knew you were trying to conceal conceits of yourself, Btw, if you read all the previous 2005 and 2006 season ferrari threads, you will find a lot of inconstructive posts To make it more clear, I'm just trying to say that F1 is something for you to enjoy over the weekends. There's really no need to feel sore and angry/hate when things didnt go the way you want for your favourite team, and wishing misfortune to happen on others is certainly unnecessary. Talking bad about others is definitely unnecessary as well. Is it that hard to understand? QUOTE(karhoe @ Jul 14 2007, 09:20 AM) We are not stirring up your thread, we just don't like it when you people call us immature, just like when Massa caused Alonso to eat sand few races back, you MATURE people said the same thing too Seriously, about the Massa/Alonso thingy, I'm still not exactly sure who's wrong and who's right. So I didnt post a thing concerning that incident. It does seem that Alonso was slightly ahead into turn 1, but then Massa was on the inside. Massa got nowhere else to turn. So i guess that type of collision is quite hard to avoid I guess. But then again, I still think its avoidable had Alonso think logically a bit and just let go when the chance of collision is like 80%. Brute force+haste=stupid things happenIf I'm in his position, I wouldnt do stupid things that would cause my position to drop further especially when the competition is so stiff This post has been edited by sleepy: Jul 14 2007, 10:19 AM |

QUOTE(karhoe @ Jul 14 2007, 10:34 AM) Enough said, I pull out from this 'war' . As you said, F1 is just something to enjoy over the weekend, and I want to make it clear that the way some of us (including me) post at Ferrari thread might be immature, but if you read through, we posted like that because we are merely voicing our anger. Imagine someone is alleged to have sabotaged your favourite team, stole your technical data, etc. Surely, as a fan, you guys will feel angry as well right? Great to see you've got my point Ok, I apologize to those people that might have been offended by me (sure I did ), let's just look forward to the next race |

QUOTE(Hean @ Jul 17 2007, 02:44 PM) With this unnecessary posts, it just proves that what I've said before is indeed correct. Most LYN Ferrari fans really are childish. It's OK if you talk bad about McLaren in your own thread. Coming here to post something like this? It's a clear sign that what you've posted here is a flame bait. Btw, there's only 2 teams involved in stepneygate. So you dont have to act a fool and say you're not referring to McLaren with that statement of yours. Also, who are you and all the ferrari zealots here to say that McLaren is guilty as of now? Just wait till 26th July and dont post trash here for the moment. Even IF McLaren were found guilty by then, please post trash at your own thread, not here QUOTE(advanced @ Jul 18 2007, 08:12 AM) Again, I hate to say this. You look like a total idiot by still arguing/defending your own typos/grammar mistakes. Again, is it your nature to make arguement out of nothing? If you made a mistake, admit it. Dont act like a stubborn child who refuses to admit mistakes. |

Hmm, again alonso was outpaced by lewis. I wonder if alonso actually put 100% effort into friday test sessions or is he simply testing out something?
Anyway, this track has a lot of sharp turns, which kinda resemble the monaco circuit. Hopefully this will give the car an advantage |
