You can't really play this game solo if you expect to stick around. EVE is an incredibly social game. You need to join a good alliance (not just corp) that is catered toward teaching newbies. Otherwise you'll end up burning out after hours of mining or grinding missions like a retard. Pandemic Horde or Karmafleet are pretty good starting points. I wouldn't recommend Brave Newbies since they get farmed heavily every single day and they're generally shit, and TEST (through their Dreddit corp) due to their affiliation with CO2, is currently at war with some of the top alliances in the game. They're losing pretty heavily now so they'll probably be evicted soon, which isn't a really good environment for newbros to learn the game if they have to pack up all their shit and move out.

Tackling Poison Kevin's (one of NC.'s main FCs) Titan is always a bad idea unless you're CO2/TEST and have a dread-bomb standing by. But then again, he's already lost 3 Titans on that particular toon so someone might just get lucky again:

Protip: Don't go afk and keep your shit in citadels anymore unless you keep one eye on the game/alliance discord. All your stuff can all drop now if your alliance goes afk or lets it go unfueled.

You'll have to pick one of the bigger alliances, Goons/TEST/Horde. Hard to find people in our TZ if you join small corps/alliances. Even if most of your corp is in a different TZ, you'll still have people to hang out with due to the sheer number of people in the alliance. There's still the kopitiam channel like someone said if you wanna tokok with fellow Malaysian/Sinkies.

Sounds like Eve-lite on mobile then. Not sure if I have time to play mobile games especially ones as demanding as EVE Echoes.

Heard you need to sub to omega just like the real game or you'd get worse access to ships and skills than the latter.
