What I did was transfer a regularly use alt to steam, and I planned to buy plex from steam for my main toon, still cheaper than subbing direct through ccp. Still wary in case shit happens hence why I transfer an alt instead of main toon.

The arc is a good place to make money and it is repeatable every 3 months if not mistaken. After that you can do anything you want to do in Eve. What's your ingame name anyway?

Hurm you start to download first before copy paste? I try it with a fresh folder before downloading anything and it detects my files. I deleted a few because dont think its necessary ie the launchers and some empty folders. Not much of download afterwards. You already downloaded the full client even on the trial version.

Try restarting steam client, then verify the game cache.

Well one other thing I forgot, try cut and paste the files in your steamapps/downloading into another location. Those are the eve onlines files that steam would be currently downloading. After that you restart the steam client and verify again. Cut and paste so you wouldnt have to start again if it fails.

Just do the tutorial, you'll get some starter stuffs. And do read the mission briefing, some of them involve getting the ship you are in to get blown up on purpose.

Lol Ashes totally different genre than Eve Online. But I play Ashes if you want to play some mp game. Eve learning curves is a bit high, its worthwhile to do some reading to understand the mechanics and avoid unnecessary losses

It is still a lot cheaper just to sub through steam with its regional pricing. A year cost 100usd, but in steam a year sub cost rm320.
