Will next season's McLarens painted in red? Bcoz Vodafone is sponsoring the team. If yes, hopefully the McLarens will not be 'almost identical' to the Midlands. But the name Silver Arrows can no longer be in use if they are painted red..

So sad about the results.. Only two more chances left for McLaren to win a GP this year.. The chances are slim after watching KR retired yet another race..

The pace is there, just the engine is not. With the engine will be frozen starting next season, this is a disaster if Illmor cannot find reliability fast

Mario Illien and Paul Morgan =Ilmor.. Morgan died. Illien still alive. Engines always blew in Mika's final season. Then, they had a hard time. McLaren Mercedes and Ilmor still in partnership? I thought they have gone separate ways.. Maybe I got the news wrong..

McLaren might not have a chance to win a GP this season. so sad.. They are just not compettitive season. There are a few key staffs who left the team and definitely McLaren has a slower progress compared to others.

McLaren has confirmed de la Rosa for Brazillian GP. We can't get to see Hamilton in action.

I will still support Kimi and hopefully he will give McLaren one victory this year.

We will see a very aggressive Kimi and play-it-safe Alonso.. Kimi has nothing to lose. Alonso is on the brink of becoming World Champ again. Well, at least, I am going to pray that the McLaren will not break down again.

Well, I will still look forward of seeing Alonso driving for my favourite team next season. McLaren is a great team. Next season will be a total different chapter and hopefully McLaren will be in contention again. Alonso, even though many of us do not like him, could inspire the team to work closely together. He can build a stronger team spirit like MS did in Ferrari. Something Raikkonen does not have for the team.

haih....y kimi kenot build team spirit... doh.gif

but anyway, if fernando got team spirit....how can he said tat his team sabotage his wdc... rclxub.gif

Kimi is one cool guy who talks less and drives more.. Let his driving do the talking.. I seldom see him celebrating with his team the way Alonso and MS did after winning races.

Alonso was too emotional and under pressure after MS overtook him at the points standings after Chinese GP. He lashed out on his team but that was silly to blame the team. That was a little bit embarrassing for him.

I dont like this season's car too.. Particular the 'aligator' nose.. I prefer last season's design.

All McLaren seats have been taken.. Maybe Mika will become a test driver or just to give technical assistance to the team.

McLaren is getting more and more sponsors. W/O West as the main sponsor, McLaren did not struggle a bit in securing more sponsorships.

Ferrari will be busy hunting for more sponsorships as they already lost the big one (Vodafone) to McLaren. I think it is McLaren which become redder and redder..

Alonso really motivates the team.. It is also very significant when Renault lost him..

I certainly hope that McLaren's chances of winning the titles are not badly hampered by the FIA. Dont want to see Ferrari to have an easy time.

Yup. It is a psychologic way to mount the challenge on the opponents. You can see how your opponents react afterwards.

And it will also make the driver famous and create all the hype in F1.
