Oh, and what do you know what Kimi is really thinking? he don't do interviews you know, and the fact of teh matter is that he has long fallen from Massa's favour ever since he turns cold shoulder to Massa's mentor, Schummi. And considering you ARE in the McLaren thread, you sure are b****ing about the wrong thing. Go b**** about Kimi and/or Ferrari in the Ferrari thread. Don't compare here.

Lewis is one hell of a driver. Remember how he turn his car in the lane towards the pit. Even Martin and James was like Whoa! this kid is treating it as if its on the track

QUOTE(cruel_boy @ Jun 18 2007, 09:35 AM) Alonso drive close to the pitwall to get a cleaner air... coz of all the brake dust from Hamiltons car... any of u noticed the brake dust coming from Lewis front well? i tout he had brake problem... considering the fact that alsonso was quicker than his during that stage of the race... I see. Didn't think about that. Commentators poisoned my minds a lot Lewis braking so hard. But his brakes still works nicely QUOTE(-= Virgil =- @ Jun 18 2007, 10:42 AM) Lewis is one hell of a driver. Remember how he turn his car in the lane towards the pit. Just change it to World Champion 2008 lorr Life goes on, no hard feelings Lewis: `Too early to talk about the title` Monday 18th June 2007 QUOTE Lewis Hamilton insists it's still too early to start thinking about the World title despite his increasing his lead in Sunday's United States GP.
Back-to-back victories in the North American leg of the F1 Championship have given Hamilton a ten-point advantage over his McLaren team-mate, Fernando Alonso.
However, with ten races still to be run, the McLaren rookie isn't yet betting on claiming the title in his first attempt.
"I wouldn't say my goals have changed," Hamilton said when asked whether the World title was now his ambition for this season. "I came into the season with an open mind, just trying to do a good job.
"We are seven races into a Championship and I have to be smart and realise we are running at the front and there is a possibility to win the Championship but it is far, far too early to think about it or get hopes up.
"We have to remain consistent and keep on winning, but as many points as possible is good for me and the team."
In fact the 22-year-old British sensation still can't quite believe that he's leading the standings and already has two race wins under his belt.
"Coming into season you have to be realistic, this is the pinnacle of the sport and I never expected anything and I hoped to do well, do a solid job, build upon it on this steep learning curve but I never expected it," he said.
"I hoped maybe I would get a podium at some point. I have been on podium in seven races, it is insane. I find it hard to come to terms with stuff.
"I am focusing on trying to enjoy it without any of the other stuff, I don't think anyone expected me to do as well as I am doing." http://www.planet-f1.comThis post has been edited by Raikkonen: Jun 18 2007, 03:55 PM

The thing is, when will we see his first mistake? The second is, if it does happen, how can he cope with it? That's what in F1 pundits mind right now

nah, technical failure is okay as it will not be his fault. But a big shunt like that happened to Kubica can really take a toll on your mind when your fighting for the championship. Mika nearly threw the '99 WDC away when he spun by himself at Monza. and that from a man that can usually take anything in his stride. We will see

heh, trust Gazzeta to make stories like that. Ferrari only wanted to get Fernando, that is no secret. But from Fernando's side, it's still nothing and he has a contract with Macca

Cheers Lewis! Keep it up!.. It was a fabulous race. There was a lot of racing back in the field. Hamilton drove a perfect race and Alonso made just one mistake that cost him a chance to overtake Hamilton.
