I used NSFT (Version 1.5.0) just now on my L925 and it now reverts to Windows Phone 8.1 Cyan instead of Windows Phone 8.0 Black.

QUOTE(mudster @ Sep 19 2014, 10:52 PM) Just want to check if there is a free video player on WP8.1.1 that can play mkv files with subs? Use the trial version of MoliPlayer Pro. It's has no limitation. Thanks! To use, put your video inside your phone in the "Camera Roll" folder. To see the subtitle, go to settings and change subtitle text encoding to English |

QUOTE(yoyoan @ Nov 14 2014, 07:49 PM) 1. Is Nokia 1520 running officially on Windows 8.1? Asking this because I want a windows phone/tablet but not sure if it can run flash files from my laptop. Attached is the screenshot of the files. First of all, Windows 8.1 and Windows Phone 8.1 are two different things. Windows Phone 8.1 cannot run exe files like Windows 8.1 you have on your laptop. In order to run apps in Windows Phone 8.1, you do the same thing as you do on Android, you download the app from the store. In my laptop, I just click on player.exe and it runs and kinda unpack the rest of the files. QUOTE(yoyoan @ Nov 14 2014, 07:49 PM) 2. In windows phone, can we run say for example CCleaner like we do in laptops? (example) As I said, you can't run your normal Windows program on a Windows Phone 8.1. So the answer is no, there is no CCleaner in Windows Phone 8.1.Would appreciate your inputs and thanks a lot!! |

QUOTE(Babet @ Nov 18 2014, 10:44 PM) Due to limited internt in my home, i always spend my time downloading big file form wifi mamak/mcd etc then later transfer it to my pc.. So I am wondering do WP has this feature.. Do note that WP doesn't have a download manager feature. You still can download stuff, but there isn't any way to pause them.QUOTE(futra @ Nov 19 2014, 11:08 AM) VLC is also coming soon™ for Windows Phone VLC Developer's Twitter |

QUOTE(Babet @ Nov 23 2014, 06:05 PM) Hi bro, assassin... If lost connection, you will have to restart the download. Regarding the download manager that missing from wp8.1, mind to elaborate a little more? What happen if I suddenly lost internet connection, will it resume or will it restart the download? QUOTE(Babet @ Nov 23 2014, 06:05 PM) It depends, if it recognize the file types, it'll save it in the appropriate folder (mp3 in Music folder, mp4 in Videos folder). For RAR and ZIP files will be saved on folder called Downloads. Do note that Windows Phone does not allow you to download exe file QUOTE(Babet @ Nov 23 2014, 06:05 PM) I believe we have a file manager, so does it behave like android that we can open the file directly from the file manager? File manager is not pre-installed on WP, you have to download the app first (Files, Made by Microsoft). On whether WP can open file directly from the file manager, if it's a supported file types like mp3 or zip, then yes. If it's not supported like mkv, rar , then no. QUOTE(Babet @ Nov 23 2014, 06:05 PM) Yup, can't. |
