The live tiles issue are mostly caused by either
- The apps wasn't updated to take advantage of dev feature introduced in 8.1.
- If you didn't use the app for a certain period of time, the live tiles will stop updating.

Only in very limited situation the live tiles issue remained. Most of the time a tap into the app (which would force the app to update, usually), would be sufficient to resolve the issue.
The new settings app (an Universal App) will be grouped similarly to what you see on your Win XP/Vista/7/8/8.1's control panel. All external device will be grouped under Device.

I'd uninstall and reinstall all removable apps and start fresh.
Still my 925 randomly restarts itself. Fraking hate this!

Ever since the restarts happened, I install an app from Microsoft Mobile "Field Medic", a diagnostic app which logs a report of the phone and display some info. In the event of an error, the app will log it in the report.
So here is all the recent OS Crash logged into the report.
You guys have any idea what could have cause these OS crashes?

Now just because an app is on the list does not mean it works flawlessly.  Notifications outside the app will usually not work, and location services tend to be iffy when they rely on Google’s Play service.

I am having build 10166 on my L1020. Had to do hard reset twice. Couldn't make or receive calls, and some really weird behavior (phantom touch)

Ya la.. Hope can upgrade to Edge... but only with win 10. 

I finally reverted back to win 8.1

Going to get a new win 10 phone out of the box later. Probably end of the year.
