Bought from lazada? Sold & fulfilled by?
Have you tested the NFC?
I'm still using mine bought from lazada sold by la store.
Already around 6 months and still good. I always full charge by pineng pb which has auto off function when full.
Probably that's why can last?? Last time ori battery always charge overnight by adapter which I feel damages the battery overtime. You can try using gsam app to see the charge and discharge rate and can also know the battery performance.

1) Yes from lazada
2) how do i check this? But the id in lazada is samsung
3) i dunno about nfc i dont really mind.

Im thinking that my original s4 battery has always been spoiled. The new one is like working superbly.

Guys,

my s4 is having a problem on power button. It seems keeps rebooting and wont reboot at all.

Searched youtube, need to tap the power button to solve the issue. But you know, i hate this.

Anyone knows how much is the fee for power button repair cost?

Might even sell my s4 for xiaomi note 4g. Pls advise for current s4 4g lte 32gb market price.

Tq guys

Hi guys,

My s4 is having some issue, which is unable to turn it on. I am very devastated on what has happened..

At some point, when I take my battery out and put it back, it vibrates and samsung logo appears for like 1.5 second. Afterward, my phone went to sleeping beauty mode.

I went to lowyat plaza today, the representative did a quick check and they confirmed that my phones motherboard is not function properly, in other words, failure.

There are two possibilites that causing my phone to disfunction that I could think of

1) Power button issue
2) SDS?

My question is, is this an SDS?

Thanks in advance.

Yes, I am thinking the same, they did not even check my device thoroughly. I'm thinking to send my s4 to local shop. I am pretty sure that the power button is spoiled.

Does the phone respond when you plug in your charger? Like get into a screen where it shows the battery is charging? If so there might be a chance power button spoil only if you can't turn it up.

Good luck
*
Well, it does respond at some time.

Anyway, I have sent my phone to local clinic, and he said that , apparently, my phones power ic has shot. Replacement at rm160. I dunno what has caused this, perhaps due to fast charging ? I mixed up with samsung adapter + xiaomi cable. My phone tends to get quite warm on charging.

Ahh.

cable mixed up should be fine right? adapter is samsung adapter?
*
I dunno, but my phone always get quite warm during charging mode. Gsam shows 38c most of the time during charging.

Adapter is the main plug right? Yes, samsung s4 white color adapter mixed with xiaomi fast charging cable.

Samsung Galaxy S5 comes with a 2.1A Charger. I The phone's mobo comes with a chip regulating voltage flowing into the phone itself So I dont think fast charging could cause this but rather the type of charger that you used.
*
Not sure, I wish I could know what had caused this issue so that I can prevent doing the same thing in future.

My phone is ready to be taken at 7pm. Crossfingering that hope my device is back to normal.

Somehow I have no confidence in repaired phones. Why not sell it off and buy another one?
*
Me neither, but who would take the dead phone? Even the local would think thrice.

Anyway,I just got back my phone. Everything is perfect! Except for loose power button. But still, it runs just fine.

Mayhaps, now i might plan to sell this off at cheap rate and get xiaomi note 4g.

Well i might try to sell this phone around rm700 or lower. Considering after repaired.

Thanks guys.

*throws potatoes*
