1 year battery almost end of life already. What you usually use? 3 hours usable very short for me.. sweat.gif
*
i try yesterday, battery fully charged, wifi on with power saving mode on. 100% to 15 % i play games Clash of clans, facebook, beach bomb a while.

i play non stop and it last for 2hr 15min(SOT) like that, i think max 2hr30min +-, new battery is about 3hr max if i do the same thing.

Sounds fair enough. My only gripe about samsung batteries are the 100% to 90% drops exceptionally fast. After that it is ok.

Usually no, theoretically no. Something in your background. What apps you've installed that requires root?
*
QUOTE(nokia6280 @ Oct 31 2014, 07:38 AM)
You have to know why you need to root. Do you know other rooting method than towelroot will trigger knox? unless your device warranty over or you don't care about warranty...

To me 2 things causing your phone heat up and reboot...

1. Some apps is running heavily
2. FW corrupted
*
after i root i install xmodgames apps for my clash of clans.

i dono towelroot will nt trigger, but i read some said latest knox will detect also, so i use the link i shw u guys to root.

i go download mode (vol up+home+power) and my counter is 0x1.

my s4 is 1 year old plus, but gt 4 year warranty with senq

FW corrupt, if i do factory rest ok o nt?

so far 2day auto reboot once when making a phone call, tu tu a while then no sound, c screen samsung logo

i stil facing my s4 LTE auto reboot itself, sometime 4 times above a day after i root my phone.

today i try disable it, and it stil auto reboot. i try enable back and open my apps(require root) but say permission fail.

open my supersu, and it saythere is no SU binary installed, and supersu cannot install it. this is a problem.

so do i need to re root again?

or i need do factory reset and re root, cause my phone always reboot and sometimes battery drain fast.

My recommendation for you, is to download latest firmware from www.sammobile.com and flash it thru Odin.

Once flashed, just use Towelroot to get it rooted, one click only. As easy as that, install Recovery and start flashing custom rom like a mad man again

can i reset my root counter as well?

any more detail step that i can folo?
and do i need to backup all my file, my file is a lot n messy, take few days to do it.

Actually the steps to root that i wrote in the first page is similar steps to how to flash official firmware in Odin.
To make your task easier i provide you the download link for Malaysia(XME) i9505 firmware Click Here

Download that firmware and try to follow the guide in HERE

If you faced any issue or hiccups or any inquiry dont hesitate to ask here or PM me personally
I thought this is the one i mentioned earlier, check my post previously rolleyes.gif

Uninstall SuperSU/Superuser, then just use Towelroot. See if it helps
*
try but fail, said no support.

no choice i use odin and root again like what i didnt at the 1st place. now supersu is running.

i try dl s4 lte frm sammobile again but said link invalid. maybe i dl half way cancel it.

i will c if my phone stil auto restart on it owns o nt, if does i think really need load the firmware again.

do u hav any other link to dl the latest firmware other than sammobile cos it seems like the dl speed is slow

If you proceed to flash firmware through Odin, internal storage + external storage data will not be deleted. Only your system and apps is restored to factory like state.

meaning to say my data will no be erased, and i need to re root again if i wan to use a root apps?

maybe can try later, yesterday always auto restart

Way 1 - Download latest from sammobile and flash it
Way 2 - Download latest from sammonile, unroot your phome and flash latest

You know how to root and for sure know how to unroot. I guess your knox should be triggered  rolleyes.gif

Lazy to write for you and you may refer below guide

Once you flash stock, recovery will stock as well.

My experience is USB cable faulty, change one to get smooth flash..
