hey guys. my bro is using s4 i9500 version. he's complaining that its very sluggish now. he bought the phone since first release and never factory reset or format it. so now he wanna jump on custom rom.

so, what custom rom is the best and stable for s4 i9500? i look at slimkat and cm11, they bpth didnt have stable version. only weekly and nightly version.

I've been looking on their thread in xda and saw "random call quality issue" but wanted to know more. Is it tolerable? Is camera and video and everything else is perfect?

This is one of the problem nnt bro faced. That's why he wants to try chain rom now. Aosp based if possible.

That's weird. Even miui camera also been ported as an apk even though it might not be full featured.

I guess, but having used the Mi 3 for almost 2 months, i found the camera was really good imo. well maybe you mean the ported miui camera sucks. coz it is. coz its extremely limited in functionality. i mean, the ported version lost the manual control of the shutter speed, manual focus and even hdr. so yeah

Anyone here flashed the Russian or Indian lollipop ROM for 9500? Will the network runs fine if I flashed them?
